Picked up some sparco evo2's for the car, and now i need the side mounts for them. Curious to see if anyone has any for sale locally / has reccomendations for ones less than the $130/set from Sparco. Thanks!

Re: The August 16 & 17 Events Are Now Open for Registration

Shop that can weld stainless?
So, I was hoping to finally make it out and run again, but discovered that every weld on my header has cracked, and the lifetime warranty doesnt cover it. Still trying to find a replacement, but wondering if anyone knows who could weld all the cracks (literally every joint on it) at a fair price. Th...

So, in cleaning out my storage unit of stuff from when I moved out here last year, I came across these. Anyone here interested, or know where I might be able to sell them best, to get reasonable money? Took them to Frank and Sons one weekend and the offer the guy gave me there was a complete joke. :...

Re: Go Pro
yeah, the wifi will eat battery life on the hero3. and you have to remember to turn it off. If you have the wifi option running (to use the app or a remote to control it), even if you turn the camera off, it stays on till you hit the button. more than once this has eaten the battery up for me.

Hiro's was on my list. Wound up going with Bothwell Automotive in Torrance. Great work, and very upfront and honest about everything.

Re: 3/1-2 El Toro Registration
Bummed. Was looking forward to getting to run another MCAS. (Ran at Cherry Point in NC a bunch) but it looks like the car won't be done at the transmission shop till Friday. I dont think a new diff, clutch, and trans internals needs to see a hard day of autox without some break in time. boo.

Good Transmission Shop in the Southbay Area?

Re: Vehicle Inspection When Coming In From Out Of State
Sadly it is a DD.
And it came with a 2.2L engine, and i put another, built 2.2L in it....
So if i pass smog, do i just goto the DMV to get plates? The whole process out here is a bit confusing.....

Vehicle Inspection When Coming In From Out Of State
So, Im trying to get my car (currently South Carolina tagged) some Cali plates. Already changed exhaust and took some of the vinyl off, hoping that getting tags will get the Torrance police to stop following me around. I believe the car will pass smog with the new exhaust on it, so not worried there...

Is the january event i saw points for next year or not? May come out and run SMF just to see what this region is like and see where it will best fit for n...
