El Toro Pro photos?

Saw lots of folks shooting pics at El Toro. Anyone know where their work product might be found online?

Thanks

Yep...but, the idea of the wheels costing nearly as much, or more, than the vehicle is quite common in SoCal, so that should not have slowed you down... :D

Can transport to LA Sept 6-7, if anyone is interested in buying and saving me from Craigslist hell.

Need oesset of 205/50 or 195/50-15 tires

I put this out to the Bay Area autocrossers, but no luck yet... I'm looking for a set of 205/50-15 tires to use primarily for "display purposes" on my Tiger...I'm going to be showing off a set of prototype wheels at the big 50th anniversary of the Tiger event (SUNI) June 30-July 4 in Color...

Re: Heads up on Crow's Landing events

While Patterson is the easy button and our go to, keep in mind that Tracy is about 30 minutes north and is much bigger. Also, to the south, Santa Nella is about 20 minutes from the site. So, if Patterson ends up booked, there are other options.

Re: Heads up on Crow's Landing events

KJ, I don't have the specifics on how we are going to allocate space and where, but can tell you that camping on site will be allowed. Where is going to hinge on how the courses are set up and where we need to grid. Good news is that there is plenty of space with which to work. edit: to be clear, wh...

Heads up on Crow's Landing events

Disclaimer: I'm not posting this in any type of official capacity, just passing along a couple of thoughts to consider about this "new" site. So, after years of back-and-forth with multiple parties, SFR has been given the opportunity to use the Crow's Landing site for 4 weekends in 2014. F...

Yes, minimal concerns with noise and no one is going to build a shopping mall, affordable housing or a golf course there any time soon ;)

Re: Crow's Landing Pro available to fill class

Patterson is the nearest town. Bryan Nemy has a block of 30 rooms at the Best Western, just say "SCCA" for group rate. We should be able to easily accommodate everyone in Patterson. Compared to what I just went through at the Dixie Tour re accommodations and distance, it will be a piece of...

Re: Crow's Landing Pro available to fill class

George, Mark Mervich and co-driver will be there. Chris Warner, maybe. I'm really crunched for time, as I have my weekends either booked with business stuff (corp offsite coming up) or completing my Tiger. The 50th anniversary bash for the Tiger (SUNI) is in Colorado and the car has to be done by th...

Crow's Landing Pro available to fill class

Hey, it doesn't look like I'm going to have time to do the needed prep on my CM car in time for the Crow's Landing events. If anyone is having a hard time making a class and needs someone to fill a seat, I could be up for it. Not too picky, just want to have fun! Thanks Mike mwood24020 AT aol DOT com

Re: Good news on the site front

@Mike ... use Panorama mode! :-) Does a bberry have that? I dunno...not exactly down with the bberry functionality, all I do is make phone calls and ignore emails  Looks like we're getting fairly close to the cap (225) for the August event, sign up if you're on the fence! Also, the test and tu...

Unless things have changed, anyone can purchase the Bilstein parts (unlike Koni) and any of the quality names mentioned above should be able to service the dampers?

I know PSI up here at Sears Point still does Bils...

Re: Good news on the site front

Bill, in general, I'm going to put the surface on the more highly abrasive side, much as Atwater was when first used for Solo. However, there are some differences in the top level aggregate, so areas of the site will differ. I do think it will prove to be very similar to Lincoln, once seasoned. Keep...

Keeping fingers crossed this site becomes a long term option. I know there's a placeholder for a November Match Tour, already, but the possibility of Tours, Pros and two day AAS events is exciting.

Re: Good news on the site front

There is a strict, and relatively low, limit on allowed overnighters for this trial event. I'm not certain how it will be managed. I can't drive because of my cycling accident, so I am going to serve as Paddock Chief and will provide detail when available. There are some camping options nearby, same...

Not directly applicable to you guys down in SoCal, but good news in general:

Why not tell everyone with a "STOCK" car over 30 years old to stay home and put your car on cider blocks. It will save you the effort to keep it smoged and the tires will stay round. The "new" G stock is a fail. Why not save the ink. Tell H stock to buy a new car. I'm not sure i...

I sent my letter proposing that the stock ruleset stay the same with the exception to the change to street tires. As I can tell, the main underlying problem we are really trying to fix here is tire performance longevity. This problem would already be solved by going to street tires (20 competitive ...
