Re: 2012 National Dates

Farmington is at 5400' elevation. If you're n.a. and going against f.i. competition, you may want to consider that in your decision tree for Packwood vs Farmington. Mike I ran there in 2004 in the H Stock MINI... and back then if you didn't have a class, you bumped up into the next class (no indexi...

I have a set of 13x7 Revolutions 9#ish, in decent shape, true and no curb rash, but showing their age (needing some polishing up) $200, and I can deliver them to someone in Lincoln, and they can bring them back to california.

If this doesn't heal, then I need to figure out how to get Jerry Lamb's upper body strength. You get good upper body strength if you have to bench press yourself to move around... I've tried driving the Mustang with the hand controls... no chance in hell i would be anywhere near as good as Je...

Re: Handicapped Autocrossers

We have had experience with this... both from co-driving with Jerry Lamb and Kristi breaking her foot at the pro finale several years ago. Talk to the Chief Steward/event staff and get special permission to ride around the course on the appropriate vehicle at WALKING speed. no big deal

Re: El Toro and camping

I'd suggest an approach to AMCI with an offer of a 10pm-6am curfew and Event officials staying onsite to monitor with severe penalties on the table for violating curfew. If they want more, then pool dollars of those staying and offer to pay for a security guard from 10pm-6am. Just a thought. I'd lo...

Re: Can i run my Jeep GC SRT8 in an autocross event?

Steve, the formula for SSF is not a straight calculation width/height. It is derived from a combination of width, height and CG. Reading the chart looks like the line is at 1.00, but the text says it is 1.3 based on vehicles with production like mass distributions (CG) Since there is not an easy way...
