Re: January Event Registration Open

I know this is a very late, but can I do a walk up registration for Sunday Championship? Registration is closed online, and I was still wondering if walk up registration was still an option. Thanks! -Chris I reopened registration, so if you want, you could register tonight for a faster experience t...

Re: How to renew SCCA Membership online?

Chris - please try again. I didn’t notice previously, but the second image he posted highlights the problem. In that image you can see he’s logged in as “Chris M.”. That account was created in March of 2016 through the GROW website. Then in April of 2016 he joined the SCCA as a member, but with dif...

Re: How to renew SCCA Membership online?

I appreciate all the help! I did my fair share of googling and this problem seems to pop up every once in a while. I wonder if/or what the common factor is for not allowing access. My only worthwhile note is that its my first year as a member and this is my first time renewing. Maybe if I had renewe...

Thanks for looking into this KJ, although I am still having the same message.

In the picture attached the time stamp in the right corner shows that this is still occurring after the fact.

Should be the link below the 3 red boxes.

I found that link and when I click I get this message

How to renew SCCA Membership online?

Hi All, So my SCCA membership is ready for renewal and I have gotten my renewal form in the mail. However several times in the mailer it is advertised that you can renew online. After about 15 minutes of navigating the SCCA site. I finally found the renewal link. However when I click on the link it ...

Re: The February Events are Open for Registration

Here is the cancellation policy. It is highlighted in several places including but not limited to the initial advertisement for the event, the registration page, your confirmation email, and the pre-event email. Once on the entry list, your credit card will be charged unless your cancellation is re...

Re: The February Events are Open for Registration

Not sure where this should go: I received an email saying I was charged for the 2/18 practice, however I cancelled my registration on the Thursday prior and did not participate in the event. I sent an inquiry via the email notification I received about the charge (motorsport reg) about a refund and ...

Re: Will we run in the rain 2/18 & 2/19?

Well, looks like the running in the rain is a welcomed by many, apparently. :shifty: Running in the rain is very easy on tires. When you get serious about autocross and realize that competition doesn't stop when it's wet, and when you realize how hard it is to get wet experience in So Cal, you'll ap...

Re: Will we run in the rain 2/18 & 2/19?

Have to be honest, not too keen on running in the rain. I've did it twice last season and it was interesting to say the least, but I'd rather save the rubber for a dry day.

I will keep my hopes up for dryer skies for the time being.

Re: Post Car Classing Help Questions Here!

I would talk to the local guys in STF first and see if they have an issue with the body mods. Otherwise I think its SMF. Thanks for the tip, I am at least 8-10 seconds behind the middle of the pack for STF. I just didn't want to appear like I am "cheating" the rest of the class. I will as...

Hi Pals & Gals, I believe my '13 fit will soon be FSP and I just want to confirm for next season. I ran STF this year but I believe my current mods and soon to be future mods will bump me out of the class. Mods: Engine: Stock (Automatic) Suspension: Koni Shocks & Tien Springs Progress Rear S...

Re: Post Car Classing Help Questions Here!

Hi Randy & Craig, Thanks for the advice its appreciated! I also suffer from a late .5 second gear change. It's never right when i need it. So the tip about anticipating is good to know. The car won't shift up and will bounce off the limiter, however any excess will result in the car switching it...

Re: Post Car Classing Help Questions Here!

I know this is slightly off topic but I know this thread gets a fair bit of traffic. So hopefully its ok for a quick question. I have an auto CVT honda fit (flappy paddle shifter), and typically when I race I put the car in sport mode and let the car figure out the gear changes. However at th...

I too appreciated the 2 extra fun runs!

I was able to beat on the car a little harder than normal, knowing my competition runs were done. Granted I spun out on the last fun run, but it was still fun!

It's helpful to see what lines you took and what you did differently. I will say Sunday's course was a bit challenging for me.

Re: Sign up for Tech Workers, April 23-24 Fontana event

Chris, Welcome. First question, what run/work group are you in? The format for this event looks like work or run AM, the FJ karts durring lunch then back to the work or run in the afternoon. Tech is open until registration is closed. The overlap of workers is to provide a continuum of coverage and ...
