Re: XS ruleset

working from a basic definition of perimeter, a perimeter is a path that encompasses/surrounds a two-dimensional shape; my personal opinion is that "must not extend past the perimeter of the original body" means that if the wing is changing the shape of the perimeter of the original body ...

Re: XS ruleset

Thanks for the interpretation Anthony. Seems way more beneficial than the way I was looking at it. Reguarding a "spoiler" (maximum allowed) End plates are allowed: no size restriction. (does not say wing/spoiler specifically) Could I add very large end plates to the sides of the spoiler to...

XS ruleset

Alot of it is crystal clear to me......but struggling with the rear aero interpretation. Trying to figure out what I'd be able to do. In my case.....a Mazda MX5 ND. •A rear spoiler or a rear wing may be added, removed, or modified but must not extend past the perimeter of the original body (excludin...

Re: Xtream Street (XS) Looks like....

Is this the class where you buy a CSP miata, transplant a turbo Rotary, and add Aero? Sweet.... For someone that likes to build their own race cars, that'd likely be the choice of cars to put together. Keeping it road legal (smog legal) would be a stretch there w/ the rotary (in CA). Who makes/made...

Re: Xtream Street (XS) Looks like....

If one was building a strictly XS car, one could build one for the class. The ones competing in this class would regulate themselves as far as weight would be concerned, as well as being road legal. CalClub does not necessarily have to have this class run at the events.....as CST is the present clas...

Re: Thank you for a great August Course

I can't say that I executed any driving particularly well.......it was very much what I'd been looking for, for awhile. Believe it was a great test for all classes. Looking forward to use, what I learned, while watching........

Also been missing the long slalom......the extension was welcomed!

My race passes were weak.....would like to attend practices more, but work gets in the way of that.

Here is my quick funrun pass 52.912 +1 (I think).

Not my quick or smoothest pass, but still something to learn from.

I really enjoyed the rides I got from the Chad, Ed and quite a few others on Saturday. It was eye opening on different cars and drivers.......thank you! 8-)

Re: CST rules?

Thank you Rick..... 8-)

SM rules I should be looking at in the Solo rule book.

Can you add a supercharger to the vehicle......and stay in CST, or would that put the car in SSM? (car is not available from the factory with a supercharger).

Re: Pics/Vids from 4/22 & 4/23 Event

Eddie, You were short cutting in the 3rd section. As you were coming up the hill (from the drain tubes), the 1st right, you needed to turn more right to get to the next cone (to turn left up the hill). There were 2 walls there. You drove straight to the 2nd wall, and not the 1st. Watch some of the o...
