Re: Post Car Classing Help Questions Here!

Perusing the rules, I can do STS, and STR if I go crazy on wheels and tires. Looking at the results from Sunday, my Sat times were in line with that group, which also had similar cars.

Re: Potential Venue for SoCal/NorCal Annual Competition

Hi, you might look at Kern County Speedway http://www.kernraceway.com. The Kern County Fairgrounds are in Bakersfield, its about as big as Pomona. They pitch their South P parking lot for vehicle use. There are several small airports around Bakersfield and Fresno, including; Elk Hills, Taft, Poso, W...

Yes Reed,

good job! And thank you to everyone!

Don't feel bad Sebastian, I spun my Miata 3/4 of my runs too. Yep, that green one was me, if anyone working that corner after the 3 cone slalom sees this, my apologies!

Re: Miata year/model recommendations

Hi Martin, I just bought an NB (1999) in August because track racing is my end game, and when I talked to the guys at the track event, they said that was the one to get (but it was also the best one I found when I looked). Up to 04 or 05 meets the rules of the racing clubs that run locally. The 94-0...

Re: Post Car Classing Help Questions Here!

Ok, I imagine my garden variety Miata is too modded for ES, so here goes; NB Miata (1999) single adj coilovers stainless header and tailpipe/stock cat midpipe frame rails/fender brackets racing beat (to be replaced by homemade) intake 15x7s with street tires (Federals, I should get a break for that!...

Re: WTB: 275/35-18 TW200 tires

Hi Eric,

they are the garden variety chrome ones (17/18x9), but in very good condition with hubcaps, tires are like new. The backs (18"s) rubbed the week I drove on them, but they still look good.

See you later!

Re: Long Beach Grand Prix

Understood, my post was mostly a joke on how few I have met interested in spectating racing, not on the complexities of scheduling. The racing clubs also seem to favor my mother's birthday too.

See you all on the 29th!

Eric,

the 17x9s have 275s on them, and the C5 set I have has tires too. :) They may not be 200w tho. They are here if you want them.

Hi Eric,

If you are bringing your dad's car, I have a set of 17x9s you can borrow or have for cheap. I will be at El Toro on Sat. (with my "new" Miata) but not sure if I can get them down there in the morning. PM me if you like

Re: Cordless Impact

Hi Jason,

thanks for the offer! I ended up getting the Milwaukee mid torque impact, and tested it out, works great. I got a bunch of batteries too, so hit me up if there is a need. Looking at those 3/8 impacts to add to my collection.
