Porsche's weird accelerating sound

During this week's autocross it sounded like the majority of Porsche's under intense acceleration were shredding gravel. I've never heard a sound like that before. Did anyone else notice this? SCCA rule: "If using a suction-cup type of mount, you must have a secondary tether securing the camera in case the mount becomes loose." Underbody aero panel illegal in stock class? I assume that's a yes...

I wanted to buy this aero panel for my 2007 Miata: link. It's not like it's a wing or other big aero modification. Is it considered illegal in stock class? I'm running in CS.
