Re: What will be the equivalent of RTR next year?

Having instructed in an RTR S2K on Z2s at both of the previous 2 events, I can say that it felt pretty darn awesome on those tires. What are you going to run on the Z? Hankooks. Big car, lots of heat to deal with. 9 inch wide in front, 10 inch wide in back???? I noticed the New 2015 Wrx comes with ...

Your civic is loud because the original mufflers/resonators are blown out. As far as I remember you've had the same exhaust system since 2007. You should consider replacing the resonators/mufflers with lightweight options via (coastfab or burns).

Re: 5/26/13 Photo & Video Thread

I have a idea, put your knowledge to work and design a course. Not my first rodeo... In case you were not aware, I've heavily involved in course layout professionally. But for the SCCA, you haven't been around long enough. In my 15 yrs Ax'ing, I've probably done a dozen courses, and chaired a few m...

Re: 5/26/13 Photo & Video Thread

I have no hard feelings toward the lost driver, it happens, and he appeared to be a novice. I was a bit annoyed that no one directed the driver to the exit when it was clear he lost his sense of direction. I was just upset I lost a run that appeared to be working, oh well. There's more videos about...

Also when lost on course try not to drive head on to oncoming cars. So what's with the gutting of D Stock? It seems like a pretty big jump to pull all the RWD cars out of DS and throw them in FS. Also given the performance characteristics of the old REX vs the new one if that goes through it might be time to drop that car into G Street . I thought that mi...

So basically, we're all lobbying for our own self interests: the SLA guys are saying "no fair" and the strut guys are saying "this is great." I guess we just count up which group has more members. I guess when it comes down to it, I don't really care if the people with SLA setup...

Then you're only .1 degree behind the NB Miata I ran last year.

This is a perfect example of why the rule needs to be open to all cars.

Does the Mazda gain negative,or positive camber under load?
