And Marshall, congrats on a fine ass-whupping in Packwood. Very nice.
Haha, SS, SSP, ASP, BSP and CSP are all too soft. But that's nothing compared to EM and XP.

Good job Marshall!

Aaron and I are going, although I don't think we will be towing. More like me driving the MX5 and Aaron following in his baller Lexus! Aaron has a trailer, but I'm not sure it is wise for two first time towers to try their first tow all the way to NM! My first tow was to Topeka... Powder up the boy...

good machine shop

Looking for a good, reasonably priced machine shop for really low volume CNC AL brackets and such. I can make drawings but would prefer to just send over CAD (STL, whatever is needed) files. Doesn't necessarily have to be local but that would be preferable.

Thanks

Re: Sound Measurement at a ProSolo

Dude, just buy a quiter car.

Unless they've changed things from last year, consider each set of 4 runs to be like a single run at a Tour. You're not going to be notified of a sound violation until you're done with your four runs and are back in grid or impound.

Re: Dynapack in Irvine

Anyone know where there's a Dynapack in or very close to the Irvine area? Next best thing would be any dyno around that area. Doesn't Church have a Dynapack? Do you consider Wilmington close to irvine? :) Yes, Shawn has a Dynapack but in this instance Wilmington is not ideal. It's not for me, other...

The sound limit for El Toro Fields is 100 db @ 50’. The first violation will receive a warning. The second violation will receive a warning plus a correction must be made before taking a subsequent run. Subsequent violations will result in dsq for each run over the limit. What's the situation re sound? Will there be any enforcement? I might bring my wings & things car.... We're pretty much copying the national sound stuff. Basically 100db+ = dsq 'd run. Fix-it before subsequent runs. http://www.scca.com/documents/Solo_Forms/2010%20Generic%20Tour%20Sup%20Sound%20...

Depends on what you expect to break. I'll be bringing axles and a differential to Lincoln along with the tools to install them. While Harbor Freight tools aren't the greatest quality, most are adequate for a hobbyist. The HF rachets stink. Their aluminum jack stands are nice. $30 a pair with coupon...
