Re: New local classes for '09

Simplifying things is good. We seem to make this all too complicated just because we think we can. Make CSM a street tire class and also make it the default novice class. This makes life so much simpler. Creating several new classes that have no path to SCCA is not a good idea unless we run a diffe...

You should change the name of this thread to “Thoughts” or “PROPOSED CHANGES” or add a "?"
It looks like a real final change has been made.

Re: Economics Question ...

I have an Idea to solve the financial crisis and make this more of a win win. We, the tax payers are going to pay to bail out the banks. The government will hold the distressed properties. As collateral I say we should hold some government land until the government pays us back. I say we (CSCC) get ...

I am willing to cut Gio slack. He did try to inform us by making changes to the calendar but then he was told to change it back. I would like to see an update the calendar stating something like this-->, “The SCNAX CUP will not be held this year. CSCC is considering adding a Championship event on Su...

Re: 12 events 3 drops for 2008

So is that right? Just being sure I did not mis read the rules, planning out the end game between SDR & CSCC. Do you automatically get your average for the missed events or zero? You need to run 9/12 or 10/13 to keep your points for year end. An ave will count as a run. LA may have 10...

Re: ANNUAL Emissions Tests for Vehicles OF 15-Years ?

It is my understanding that this Bill's intent to remove money and inconvenience owners of all cars 15 years and older on a rolling clock for the purpose of collecting funds for the state and to provide some money to people who choose to retire a worn out car. This is a tax on people who enjoy and m...

Wow.....Looks like its real. Went to the Assembly site:. If this passes the junk yards will be full of NICE 1976 - 1993 cars. Every time older cars get smogged the risk of junking them increases because many owners don't know how to or think that they can afford to replace the cat. My cars pass smo...

Doug, we already set aside the whole thanksgiving weekend for the SCNAX cup and ladies school.... That is a good use for that weekend because many folks can't run for points over Thanksgiving.
