Re: 17" Advanti Wheels w/RE-71Rs
If you haven't sold these yet, do you know if they will fit Brembo cars? Seems like Tire Rack says no, but would like to check.

Results page issues?
Hi all, I had an event a while back I ran in 2016, and wanted to see the results. I noticed that I could reach the results for more recent events but dialing back to 2016 and clicking either of the links contained in the posts causes it to hang while loading but never produce the page. Is there a kn...

ND Miata passenger side skirt extension - $125
Hi all, as some may remember, I recently took my ND to a Test and Tune event with the Cal Club region. While there I spun the car into a cone barrier and ripped the left side skirt off the car (which I've been told is somewhat common?) As a result of having things repaired, I now have a right hand s...

Test and tune Registration question - 2 driver car
Hi all,
Been a while since I registered for a SoCal event, a friend of mine and I are going to share my car for a Test and Tune day. Need to know if we have to split the runs or if we can each sign up as an individual and do a full 12 runs.
Thank you!

Wanted: info on Stan Kowalski’s Miata
Hi all, super random, but a friend of mine and I got into a discussion about Stan after his for sale post popped up on my FB feed. What happened to his XP Miata he built? I saw he was trying to sell it, but wasn’t sure what the end of that story was. Hoping it didn’t get lost in the estate sale... T...

Stephen, I had spoken with Anthony Porta about them as well, I looked into them and saw that same year limitation. Ended up passing on that one because of it. Thank you to everyone who responded! I really appreciate the feedback, and it's good to know these resources for later in case someone else ne...

Financing a private party, older, used car?
Hi all, Got word back from the tax man and I'm in the market (finally!) for a car to start running this year. Today marked the first day of prepping my current car to sell and doing research/test drives in earnest. Looking at AP2 S2ks and C5 Corvettes. Given those cars, finding a good one means it m...

Re: Nationals...?
Perfect, thanks guys. Precisely what I needed. The car I'm looking to run will have work done to it already more than likely, finances permitting. Tires would be the main expense as would alignment.
Appreciate the advice!

Thanks guys for the input so far! Feels like a needle in a haystack problem in some ways but that helps my focus a ton. Also pulls the wall down a bit lower to the ground. 8-) Good to know about the NB...when it got classed with the 350/RX8/E36 the last year I ran I more or less figured that put it ...

Ok, need a little help here from autocross peeps...Nothing set in stone yet (far from it) but Im kicking around the idea of getting back into the sport...been out of it for a shade under 10 years and predictably much has changed since 2006/2008. Ive been looking over the results from the last event ...

Fwiw, the car is sold but as of yet has not changed hands/title has not been released. If something changes between now and completion of the sale I will post.
No disrespect to you Eric, just learned things can happen in transition I do hope it goes smoothly!

Going through the results from 04 might get you something, maybe just a name of the owner/driver? Could be he races in another class now but may get you something as well as results that could explain why it sat. EDIT I would post in the thread but I can't thanks to their site. Grr. The only BM car ...

Got a TON of useful seat time by taking the Evolution Autox beginner class. Would highly recommend it if you want to be better quicker. learned most of what got me fast from that.

Re: Ladies School Coming - Instructors Wanted
There is an inherent difference in teaching styles and communication between men/women. We train people where i work all day and I see this first hand very often between our male/female trainers and their interactions. If I may say, there's no ill will intended in the decision to have women instruct.

makes sense to me. Thanks. Not sure where you are experience wise or how competitive you wanna be, but as they say "master the basics". Sounds trite, but something as simple as knowing how to negotiate a slalom correctly (yes, there is a right and wrong way) will do way more goo...

The stock shocks on the S2000 feel sloppy compared to custom-valved shocks, but are not significantly slower. I've heard the same thing you heard about Koni Sports - the stock valving isn't that great. I think I'd run the stock shocks in your situation. Thank you very much for your perspectives as ...
