My ex-evo7's heritage lives on ...

Those of you who remember me and remember my JDM Evo 7 "French Blue/Bleu/Blah" will enjoy this short video. When I sold the car back in 2009 to a friend of mine here in Lebanon, he went on to open up a performance shop/garage, and is now competing in the local "Speed Test", which...

And no, 4WD don't necessarily have an advantage over 2WD. And what per say were you towing to our events at the time :D Jay W Ha ! Okay yes that :D (Evo 7, for those who don't know), but also look at the 2005 Nat'l results in STX, where in fact a rwd bmw 325 could compete with the rest of the field...

Re: Bob & Patty Tunnell

Bob and Patty were big shot back in the late 90s / early-mid 2000s. They are top-notch people. Bob personally taught me a few things about car setup back when I was struggling with my '00 M Coupe. He's a great guy to be around, not to mention extremely serviceable. Patty and Bob always used to have ...

Re: To all those bailing on this Saturday's practice

A bit late to the party but .... back 10 years ago, I longed to race in the wet. Racing in the wet is that time when the field gets level, as in, it's a lot more a question of who's behind the wheel than the car being driven. And no, 4WD don't necessarily have an advantage over 2WD.

Re: Not Just SUV's ... Fiat 500 Also

Stumbled upon this thread :) I have no idea how the 500 (and/or Abarth equivalent) would fare on the AutoX course, but mine could be made rather quick by tuning out the classic understeer inherent to road cars. All I know is that it demands a low ride-height, very stiff springs, and shocks to match....

Re: Running windows7 on a MacBook

Somewhat back on topic... Question: Do I want 32 bit or 64 bit W7? Why do I care? If you have more than 4GB of RAM (and/or you want to use more than 4GB for Windows) , it might make sense to get the 64 bit version, as the 32 can only recognize up to 4GB. Also, I don't think ChaseCam is a 64-bit app...

Hi Pinky !!! I have a Macbook Pro 17" (as a matter of fact I'm typing on it now). It has Windows 7 loaded, both in Virtual Machine mode and Bootcamp mode. I use it in Virtual mode (meaning it runs on top of my native operating system OSX), to view and edit the latest Office files, and generally...

 Karl which ones more fun in traffic???? }:) The Abarth hands down. The GTR belongs more on the track, whereas the Abarth belongs in lane changes, slicing and dicing, cutting people off (did I just say that ???) etc ... I assume you've already run an anti-virus program with the latest defs ? Because I have seen problems like this happen before, due to viruses. Otherwise, it can also very well be a power supply problem, not delivering sufficient and/or clean power to your motherboard. Or it could technically be a ve...
