Re: May autox course setup
What time do you think you'll be winding up? I'm the S.S.S. for the weekend and I can come by and check out the course, grid, and spectators areas for you. I'd come about 30-45 mins. before you think you'll be done - sound good?

Thanks, John, but given what I want to do, even regular Miata flares won't work!John Fendel wrote:Bill,
I have a pair of rear fiberglass flairs that were made for an early Mustang.
If they will work for you, make me an offer.

Anyone know of a good, reliable fiberglass body panel fabricator in So Cal? I need some custom fender flares for the DP Miata. TIA.

Need a good aluminum welder in the O.C.
Also will require a bit of fabbing (modifying a dry sump system oil pan for my Miata).

Hey! No one told me there was a gun show in town?
Unfortunately, I won't be going to Nationals, so no opportunity to use the answer, "That would be in the butt, Bob."
Such a shame.

Really? Did you look at his math? If it really is at that rate, then IT'S NO DIFFERENT THAN USING A6s (A7s maybe have better wear?)!Max Hayter wrote:Be glad you aren't running Hoosiers any more in stock!
Non chamber challenged cars get 80 runs out of their A6s all the time.

Getting desperate...Bill, can I put you down for SSS? I'm happy to do it, but I don't have a car, so really do want to find a fun, fast drive . I know I sound like a brat, but this new car is taking a lot of work and the majority of one weekend lost on working on it while S.S.S.ing is not something...
