X-ray is probably not the right tool for that job. Unless the part is thin or the crack is large enough to extend all the way through the part, the x-ray is just going to pick up all the metal behind any cracks that may exist and show you a solid part. Even a Doctor can't see a fine crack in a bone ...
Cold/old tires on a car that has been sitting in one spot for a little while can take a set in their non-round condition and it takes a little bit of driving to get them to flex and warm up enough to get rid of the slightly flat area.

If the Dec event is missing for the overall PAX but shows up in the class points then it may have been a "changing conditions" event and thrown out from the overall PAX.
