Re: Instructors needed

I would think earplugs or the ability to concentrate while people are screaming next to you would be a requirement. I once took someone along for a ride-along (in a GS Mini), and she started screaming, wait, SCREAMING, nope, not enough, SCREAMING , next to me. I found her screams of terror/exhilarat...

And love to have the head (to add to my growing collection), but I don't think they'd let me bring it as my carry-on. :D

FWIW, I have that exhaust on my Civic. It's a very nice exhaust. Muffler hangs a bit low, but I was the quietest Civic at Nationals, and I'm sure most of my noise was the intake. And people have told me that they like the sound of my exhaust.

Times like these it really sucks to be 1600 miles away in Kansas.

Re: Autocross with Koni FSD?

Per Schroeder tried them out on at least one of their GRM Minis and was impressed with how well they work. That said, I believe he now runs Koni yellows. In concept, the FSDs are very similar to Bilsteins. Not as adjustable as the Koni's (the top Minis usually have double-adjustables, which means al...

Hey, Steve. Can you pick up the A/C delete parts for me? Actually, I'll be back there at El Toro in 2 weeks, and can pick them up.

Re: 2009 Blytheville Pro

What was wrong with the course that caused HS to be 1-2 in PAX? And the 3rd HS driver in 9th. But there are also 4 FSP drivers in the top 11. For both classes, some very good drivers, and the Pro PAX is a little off for some classes (CS, ES, GS, HS, CSP, FSP, to name a few). This is not to ta...

Re: Son of "Don't Drift this Thread"'s long lost cousin...

Check out my ST car's new environmentally friendly, all natural, vinyl wrap job! At least they (appear to have) stayed on the outside. I've had a mouse move into both of the Civics stored in the Uhaul, and once the box was sealed, the little bugger moved into the cab of the truck. So both the Civic...

Re: how do i know if a koni is blown?

I have a Barracuda, but mine is a little less done.... And has to live with a mild 425hp small block. A little less done?? That line suggests that it might be running someday. Right now, the engine is on a stand in the garage, and the car is in the garage, in the house, and across several patios. :)

I can't believe I can't find this somewhere on this board, so I guess it can go here. Mr. Hollis was laughing harder than I've ever seen him laugh when he was shown this episode (part) of Southpark Saturday night in Lincoln. He liked it so much, he even posted/linked it on SCCAforums. http://www.you...

Can you imagine the marks that left on their precious parking lot  (or why we only ran there once).

That's not going to scrub off with a pressure washer.

Stagnaro's Shelby has been around forever and is definitely a fast and sorted weapon. And both Stagnaro and Maier know how to jockey the horses. Still.... CP cars on autocross courses seem silly to me. I'd be trying my hardest in building a CP car to make it narrower. [offtopic]Ankeny had the right...

Ryan had his alien powers intact... he was just driving the wrong car. Put him in a MSR, and he likely would have also won by 2 seconds.

Weather report? Some of the results look strange (like GS open barely faster than SK2 on index).

Re: Advan AD08 For sale !!!!!!!

I'm guessing those are list prices, not Tire Rack prices, which are about 30-40% less (at least comparing to like-size AD07s). You want them first, you pay the most. They probably also don't have the DOT stamp (likely Japanese market imports) that would be required to run them in SCCA. Still, $150 o...
