I've been in my industry (heavily involving fiberglass cutting, trimming, drilling, etc.) for 13 years, I still get the irritation/itchy every time I go out to the production floor.

Re: Trimming Fiberglass Safety

I second the disposable overalls. I deal with that stuff at work everyday. Our guys at the factory would tape any possible openings shut so no dust will find its way into the arms or legs through any loose openings. They also wear some type of beanie to prevent dust on their hair. Also keep the over...

Re: 2014 Street Classes

I'm currently having a similar experience with FStreet which is why I like the S1,S2, S3 classes. At any given event there's maybe only 2 or 3 FStreet cars. A bigger indexed class gives me more competition which I enjoy. Last year was great with RTR but I think the consensus was that most didn't li...

So, if I read the proposed rules correctly, FS will include E46 and E92 BMW M3's as well as regular E46 and E92 3-series and 1-series. What is the logic behind this? With tighter suspension, more front negative camber and an LSD, aren't the M cars faster? That is exactly my thought too. I wanted to...

So what's with the gutting of D Stock? It seems like a pretty big jump to pull all the RWD cars out of DS and throw them in FS. Also given the performance characteristics of the old REX vs the new one if that goes through it might be time to drop that car into G Street. What was SAC thinking??? Jus...

Yep, or (as was pointed out) offset control arm bushings can give gains. But, both are seen as not reasonable, it seems. In one case, you're replacing a significant component of the oem design (control arm). In the other, you are required to either hire a shop or have on hand specialized tools to d...

Not sure what package Charter you have, have you look through all the channels? With Charter, NBC Sports is channel 410, or 725 if you have their HD package.

Before anyone turns their world upside down, remember...it's just a proposal at this point. The funny thing is any time a rule change is passed (I know this a proposal) someone figures out a way to go faster and more money is spent doing it. Racing is like that. Most rule changes over the past 10 y...

Re: April Fastrack

I thought the concept is good, but there are a few things I don't like. 1. Camber allowance appears to apply only to McPherson strut suspension, and not A-arm suspension. (Good for my BMW, bad for my Audi) 2. Minimum treadwear stays the same at 140 through 2015 and beyond. 3. Like Sean said, open up...
