Not to me, I've tried most of the others, prefer AXWare. Note that the hold-the-starts were not computer related, they were operator related.

Then your golden, go for it!

Um, there's something wrong with the list, Anthony. I know for sure a number of people higher than 742 that have 2018 points cards, and it stops there for 2017, too.

Do not understand how that happened. The very first thing I did when creating the event was update to the 2018 Class Definition file I had created a month ago. :?

Updated now.

Re: Why Get Your Start at Autocross Sunday?

Umm, does that mean the entirety of the original post is invalid, or that getting someone experienced to ride along is "fat chance, fat boy." I was told that being a noob passenger with a vet driving would be unlikely on Sundays. To my eyes Randy just posted something similar to George's ...

Re: New Racer Hello/Questions

Just to be clear, the Saturday Practice is sold out. There are limited entries for Practices (none for Sunday Championships), but you can still come, take rides with people and just get a feel for what it's all about.

Welcome to the group, hope to see you Saturday or Sunday.

Re: 2017 Event Run Time Statistics

One metric we don't have, and I assume is not available is % event time with no cars on course. Pity as that would be a great thing to somehow minimize. Attention and discussion are the prelude to improvement. Not suggesting we agonize over last year's data so much as doing an event by event data-b...

Re: January Event Registration Open

Note that the Practice is currently full, so if you register now you will be on the wait list. There is a small bug in the system that will also wait list you for Sunday if you register for that, too, so you don't show up on the Sunday entry list. Never fear, you are in the Sunday event and we have ...

Re: January Event Registration Open

Is the run order posted somewhere? No, not yet. Partly because we often start from scratch and rearrange the groups because people get new cars or change classes or new classes are added. This can mess with the group balance. Partly because the format is not settled. Low turnout like December would...

Is this what you are looking for?

Looks like I started posting results in December 2010 on my FTP site. I'll have to look other places to see what event files in AXWare I have, don't recall when we started using AXWare.

Re: Tires... what happened to them? Does it mean anything? What next?

And don't forget to put your name on it. We have water sprayers left on-site at just about every event. We put them all in our "lost and found" (the passenger seat of the motorhome). Putting your name on it might get it back to you faster in the event that you do accidentally leave it in ...

I believe Stephen would also like to archive on his/our server, and maybe then it would be available to all. Plus multiple locations is always a good thing.

Re: Post Car Classing Help Questions Here!

In addition to 8" minimum for numbers and 4" for letters, the 8" number have to have an 1.5" stroke. Also, for me (timing) the preferred class letter pattern is NOV AS or NOVAS as that's the way it is in the computer. Indexed class (NOV) comes before regular class (AS). Therefore...

Re: 2017 Event Run Time Statistics

When we used to have 250-300+ at events, we were more efficient. What isn't being taken into account is it adds stress to the core team. Thankfully we didn't have that turnout at all events. It also leaves little room for the car that blows up and you're down for 1/2 hour cleaning up. You end up cut...

Re: Event Format, going forward.

Well we no longer use only 600 numbers for new people as they are free to choose any number. But I thought we had added something about instructors being able to take an average for any event they instruct for the first group, limited to up to 3 events per year. That way they can still collect poin...

Re: 2017 Event Run Time Statistics

Nice work Anthony. However, including change over in RPH distorts the info for me. I'd rather see the change over time separately, even if it's just a total for AM and PM. Sean, no direct way to get cone totals from any of the reports, was looking for that this morning. Could probably save results a...
