Re: Memory Lane

Long, long, long ago, my family lived in 1000 Oaks. Jungleland was 3/4 mile from the back door, as a crow flies. My brother, at 5 or 6, would meander through the fields, walk through the gate and wander around the compound until a guard saw him. They would call Mom to get him, or they would just bri...

A little California History

Do you know what happened this week back in 1850, 158 years ago? California became a state. The State had no electricity. The State had no money. Almost everyone spoke Spanish. There were gunfights in the streets. So basically, it was just like California today; except back then Women had real breas...

Re: Surprise!!!!! Fontana's gonna be windy.

More than the discomfort of wind and cold, the safety of workers, drivers and spectators is the issue. I was the SSS on Saturday, Renee on Sunday when she called the event last year. Freight trains slamming into the side of the motorhome was what the gusts of 60+ felt like. I was at an angle to the ...

I have to give the site kudos for thinking outside the box. However, it is probably only really funny to those who know what those products are.

Re: Smog question

Jayson - Mark is correct. The ABS light is a brake only thing and shouldn't have anything to do with passing smog. If you reset the engine and/or the main computer, drive it for a hundred miles or so before having the smog check done. See below Mako - I had the same challenge with the Suburban. I di...
