Re: Any Tips on Flushing a Z06 cooling system

I understand a Vette runs cooler with only water and water wetter than with coolant. Also if you ever spring a leak the clean up is a lot easier.

I never run coolant and no problems.

Re: Time Trails/PDX

To clarify... At the June 12-13 Club Race at AAA Speedway, group 4 will involve drivers who are entered for the Time Trials/PDX. Time Trials (TT) are very similar to what used to be called Solo I. Several practice sessions are held each day and on Sunday during the last session, if you wish, you ca...

Re: Cal Club Time Trials

Since this was the first event in a long time, they did not have enough cars to run a class. We all went out in one group. I think they would like to build it up to the point that there are enough cars to class them and have some serious competiton. I had a great time I know. I worked on my techniqu...

Yes, beginners are very welcome. They had several, the instructor rode with them all day and they really enjoyed it.

Re: Cal Club Time Trials

I think they may still be in development of the details on rules. There were several cars there without a roll bar, even a brand new camaro with a super charger. They were glad to see a roll bar on my car though, but I do not think it was required. It will likely be posted on the cal club site soon.

Cal Club Time Trials

Cal Club has started offering Time Trial events in So Cal. I just attended the first one at Buttonwillow on March 13,14 and I have to tell you it was a great event that was a lot of fun, fast and educational. This was their first event so the crowd was not large, but we had people who had never been...

Re: What Were You Doing in 1996 ?

I was in New York City managing 5 of the busiest golf courses in the world. Close to 600,000 rounds of golf from 5 courses and driving a Red Z 28 Camaro. The insurance in the Bronx on that car was $350 /mo, almost as much as the car payment. They just knew it would get stolen. A lot of cars did but ...

Re: WTB 18 ft. dove tail car hauler - flat bed pref.

I may be willing to part with my flat bed trailer. Custom built for corvettes by Lisa Severy.

I have added a tire rack and spare tire carrier to it. I have $2900 in it at this point. New tires and a winch also have been added.

PM me if interested.

I'd like STH (Street Touring Heavy). Its ST rules with a minimum weight with driver of 2360lbs. How 'bout STSH (Street Touring Super Heavy)? Bump that driver+car weight up to 3800 pounds. I'd so own that class. I don;t know that for sure. You would have some competition. I would go on a training di...

CST is for bigger boys like Chad, Randy Chase, Puertas, etc ... with their Noble and Exige. The differe...
