Looks like Speed Racers Mach 5 to me. Does that qualify as "recognizable"?

Re: WTR (Want To Rent): a good DSLR and maybe a 300mm lens

So, my non-Facebook friends may not know, but thanks to my wife and some friends, we're going to the F1 race in Monaco over the Memorial Day weekend; yes, if you don't already hate me, you now can now do so with a free conscience. But to the point: I would like to take some nice pictures from our C...

Re: May FasTrack

Yep, or (as was pointed out) offset control arm bushings can give gains. But, both are seen as not reasonable, it seems. In one case, you're replacing a significant component of the oem design (control arm). In the other, you are required to either hire a shop or have on hand specialized tools to d...

Re: May FasTrack

My thoughts: I think additional allowances of any kind in the entry level category should be discouraged, but if you are going to allow changes to alignment beyond factory methods, it should be allowed for all cars regardless of suspension configuration. What I was going to say along those lines, b...

Can somebody please explain? Don't see the rationale. Because the rule was written by a BMW or Subaru owner? }:) What's the deal with full-length exhausts? The rule was fine the way it was. Many times, cars are quieter when the pipe is turned towards the ground under the car, so what's the benefit?...

Re: April Fastrack

I think the street class plates, shocks (I think shocks will be expensive), bars and possibly the wheels will appeal to drivers that like to tinker and have a used car (or a 3 year old car). I don't see someone who has never auto-xed showing up with a new car with bars, plates and shocks installed....

Re: April Fastrack

I thought the concept is good, but there are a few things I don't like. 1. Camber allowance appears to apply only to McPherson strut suspension, and not A-arm suspension. (Good for my BMW, bad for my Audi) + 1  The Lotus has A-arms. Stiffest anti-swaybar setting helps, but is not enough.
