Re: Everybody - Please read - Club consolidation

Craig, read the second post on the thread. The by-laws are the actual integration of the ideas listed.

Re: Everybody - Please read - Club consolidation

So glancing through the bylaws -- I assume there are only five votes, unless I've missed something. Given that, all the various minimums seem pretty awkward. 50% for one thing, 80% for another, 2/3 for something else. Jeez, there's only five votes. Do those numbers really make sense now? On another...

Re: Everybody - Please read - Club consolidation

I like the new proposal. It would be nice though if there was a way to keep the names of the clubs alive. Perhaps through renaming some of our year-end recognition awards or something similar? These would be the new by-laws for governance , the supps remain the same with the "club" awards.

Re: Everybody - Please read - Club consolidation

Please read the attached document as well because the text shown are some of the goals and the wording is cleaner in the proposed by-laws

Re: New to AutoX // Car classing question

Thanks for the suggestions guys. And thanks for all the help on the track a few weeks ago Anthony. Oh, and congrats on the nationals win! I ran the car in B street two weeks ago and just recently saw they updated the rule book to add my limited edition car...in A street. Oops. Doesn't really matter...

Re: New to AutoX // Car classing question

I will second Reed's suggestion, but I would also recommend reading the rule book in case you find you really like Autox! Its my goal to have a car that I can compete in Autox with as well as some Time Trial events.

The survey for the July event was emailed last night, so if you don't see it check your spam folder. Again, thank you for your feedback as it really does make a difference.

We appreciate your feedback on our event surveys!

Since January, Cal Club Autocross has been sending out anonymous surveys to participants of our Sunday championship events via the email address used to pre-register on solo2.motosportreg.com. These surveys give you an opportunity to voice your concerns about the event and rate a few key areas. We k...

Re: Pro Solo questions

Even if you don't do the EVO stuff, bring some cash and get some practice starts (only offered Friday) so you can get familiar with the starts.

Re: Pro Solo questions

So here are my questions: Do I need to be there all three days? Friday there is a bunch of EVO stuff, which I don't know what that is but I assume that means I'm not involved. There is three hour practice session. Is that for anyone? The Evo stuff is an additional cost, but very valuable if you hav...

Re: Post Car Classing Help Questions Here!

I think BSP is pretty close... and I certainly wouldn't complain. I notated whats not ok for BSP. For local events I think CST is proabably the way to go unless you get hooked on the sport and try some r-comps. On national level events if your on street tires while not legal I can imagine anyone pr...

According to http://www.v8builds.com/ this event is on May 20th at ACS and features an "SCCA autocross" Anyone from Cal Club involved or know anything about it? Actually it says an "SCCA Autocross Course", not an "SCCA Autocross event"... semantics for sure, but the pr...
