Happy Hour anyone?

Anthony Porta had what I think is a great idea - have an online get together to check in, see how everyone is doing, talk about the latest alcoholic or pet project. It looks like it will be some time before things start to return to normal. We could have a standing get together online for the forese...

Re: April 4-5 Pro Solo Event: Cancelled?

Personal opinion here - given how hard it was for us to get dates for our local events, I feel that it would be VERY difficult to find an open date at ACS to reschedule the Pro.

Re: First time with Cal Club Autocross: April Test N Tune

Welcome Clint,

I drive in from Ventura County as well. There's usually a little more traffic on Saturday, but at the time that you'd need to be on the road, it's generally not too bad.

Re: 2/8/20 SCCA Video

I prefer the video on the side even if it's 'lopsided' because you get a true picture of how close you are to the cones. The in car view is misleading - it's hard to tell if you are actually close to key apex cones. The line has limited benefit if you are missing your marks.

Re: FS: 2011 Mercedes GL450

Google search came up with a 7500lbs tow rating which is pretty amazing for a comfy family hauler. The weight of the GL helps a lot. The ML tows fine and I'm sure the added wheel base makes it even better. These are wonderful vehicles. Comfy doesn't even begin to describe it ;-) There aren't really...

Dell chat woes (for your laughs)

This was my attempt to buy another laptop for the club, copying an existing order. It should have been as simple as looking up the configuration on the previous order, confirming the price and taking payment. What a painful experience using chat.
