Re: April Autocross weekend PHOTO/VIDEO thread
Here is my video from Saturday practice. I got 5 runs on the video. This is shot with a very old Hero Cam that is **NOT** HD, so the video is a little rough. Since this is my first time out with this Miata, I would love input from folks on how my lines look. http://youtu.be/ZQ9sQZTLR4o" onclick...

Re: 2012 Points Cards - and a thank you
Thanks Gio! Kurt, I was late in getting the points card for myself and the wife registered, but I got around to it this weekend. I'm a (late) returning member, so I hope you have my info still, if not PM me. My wife is a new member, and I realized as soon as I hit submit on PayPal I didn't include h...

I'm registered! Although I've done ProSolo the last 3 or 4 years in a row, this is my first year in the Miata, and I'll only be able to attend the April practice event before the Pro-Solo... I may need some help setting her up! Can't wait for this years event!

Wife's registration sent - so, can I help with Grid?

Re: Dynapack in Irvine
GRC is about 8 miles from the Spectrum. They specialize in Mustangs but there Dyno is very nice. I second this, I have used the GRC dyne a couple times and they were great! They scheduled time, they had the dyno ready for me when I arrived, and when I came back to measure the change after a mod the...

Hi all, thanks for the replies! El Montie might work, but San Diego is a bit far, although I do go down there to visit friends from time to time. Wanted - Wheel Repair
Hello all,
I have a set of aluminum wheels that I want to get cleaned up and then painted / clear coated / powder coated. Does anyone know a wheel repair shop in Orange County that they would trust?
Thanks!

The asian automotive companies are my clients, and all have a very active call center. The sales executives of those companies review the call center logs, and they regularly over-ride the regional managers. Loot up Subaru's corporate number for the US and start making a beef. They did, after all, g...

This was my first event since I moved in June, and it was great to be back out with all the wonderful people of the Cal Club region. Christine, great course, it was a lot of fun. Wheel Repair / Refinishing
Hello all, does anyone know of a good wheel repair / refinishing service in Orange County? I have a set of used RX-7 wheels that are nice aluminum but have some small scratches. I want to get them cleaned, re-polished, and then clear coated. There is the outside chance we'll end up painting / colori...

Re: August 14 E-Board Practice Entry List
I submitted my app today. In the last 5 weeks, I've had two family funerals, bought a new house, spent 2 weekends up on a ladder painting tall ceilings, and I'm just plain broke-ass tired. I live 5 minutes from El Toro, have a points card, and did the pro-solo this year and last. I'm not able to com...

Re: Pro Solo Launching - Help
Here's my $0.02. The course will be somewhere between 50 - 75 seconds, if last year was a guide. That means that shaving .5 second on the launch is essentially a rounding error. This is still an autocross. Focus on the rest of the course, looking ahead, getting the right line, and positioning your c...
