Re: The February Events are Open for Registration
I'm dumb, I left my RV keys in Minnesota so we're going to have to skip the event. Sorry! Anyone want to do course setup today and tomorrow?

For rent: 40 foot gated storage in Santa Ana
Hi people. Was thinking of keeping our storage space after the Winter season is over. Anyone interested in storing vehicles in the spot? It's a pull through spot so multiple vehicles could fit without blocking each other in. Will be available April-November and can fit any number of vehicles to make...

Re: The February Events are Open for Registration
I think the Friday setup might be too much for her (medical condition) unless it's something easy like grid.
Friday and Saturday course setups for me.
Saturday timeslips or gate for her during the practice event and Saturday course setup (for Sunday) for her please.
Thank you!

Saturday: Tech for Charles Kim, Something not physical for Jocelin (timing / gate is good)
Saturday night, we'd like to help course setup for Sunday work assignment if possible.
Thanks!

Well, that was a ton of fun! Thanks to everyone who made Jocelin and I feel welcome, we really appreciate it. It was really nice to be outside, enjoy the sunshine, see our friends and drive around in parking lots! See you guys next time.

Re: Course Setup 1/13/17 - 3 needed
Hi Adam, I talked to KJ previously.
Jocelin and I are going to be on site Saturday and can help with the changeover.
We have an early flight out of Cali on Sunday so we were going to work before Sunday so we could run 1st heat and head then to the airport.

Re: WTB: $1k Cal Club 40' outdoor storage Jan-Apr
Thanks Max! We have contracts held for space at a few places around the area that range from $160-360 per month (will check out the areas when I get in town and pick one). We are good on options, but if there's also something that's beneficial for an autocrosser then we're willing to do that ...

WTB: $1k Cal Club 40' outdoor storage Jan-Apr
Hi guys and gals, I think we are going to try and hit some Cal Club events this Winter. I'm looking to rent a place to park a Sprinter van + 16 foot trailer from Jan-April. Along the way from SNA to Fontana is a bonus (we'd be flying in and renting a car when in town). Rather than pay a Public Stora...

Re: October 23rd Autocross Sunday Registration Open
Question, we've not attended a Cal Club event before. Looking at the AM / PM format, what time do PM drivers need to be on site to tech and register? 7am like everyone else? Or during lunch. If we don't have to be there before lunch, would like to run SSM. If we have to be there early anyway, might ...

Toyo R1Rs and Star Specs both have a 275 option that may work.

Re: MSM miata vs AP1 S2K -- opinions?
Has anyone campaigned a 275 street tire in the back?! I'd think that would make the stagger abnormally large. I run 235 / 255 in our local street tire class and have seen one guy with 245 front in Milwaukee. I've heard that a guy from Chicago runs 255f on the standard AP2 wheel.

My $0.02: I don't know many of you personally, so forgive me if I am a little ignorant with regard to the OP's driving skill and the competitive atmosphere of local classes. As background, I've had an AP1 since 2003 and a CR since 2009. Started motorsport in 2008 and was 10th in BS this year (3rd fa...

Re: E85 differences in Cali vs. Lincoln / Midwest?
if it gets tuned on the cali e85 (which is pretty much always 85% or more) and then goes back to someplace cold and gets e70 it will run rich and thus add it's own conservative touch. The touch up tune for e70 would be to lean it out to get the power back and pull some timing out once it's leaned o...

Re: E85 differences in Cali vs. Lincoln / Midwest?
Ranvek (from our home region) was 2nd last year and 3rd this year in STU. You can run E85 on stock Evo equipment. I wish that were the case on S2000s.

Re: E85 differences in Cali vs. Lincoln / Midwest?
The problem is that we're from Minnesota (you announced for my wife in BSL: "HU-Ahng" ;)
So maybe we'll have it tuned and then rechecked when it gets back here.

E85 differences in Cali vs. Lincoln / Midwest?
We're currently having our SSM S2000 tuned on E85 in Cali and wondering if anyone had experience on how the fuel might differ in different regions of the US. Should we have it tuned more conservatively and have it "touched up" when it gets back home to Minnesota? Or not bother. Thanks in a...

James, it was great to get to know you better. The way a man deals with challenges and adversity says way more about their character than how they are when things are good. Much respect to you, my friend. And I literally LOL'd at your avatar.

WT(rent): car for Evo school Saturday
There's a 50:50 chance that our SSM S2000 won't be ready by Saturday's school. Which is a little bit of a problem since my wife and I are flying into town Friday... I've arranged to rent a local track guy's S2000 with NT01s and high-temp brake pads as a back up plan. Was wondering if anyone had a ch...
