Red Line 70-90W NS Gear Oil - anyone use it?

Wondering if anyone uses this and where you get it.

I have a source for it at 15.50 a Qt. plus tax - BUT I have to buy a case of it!

AFR gauge - need to work on jetting the carb.

AFR gauges any input on which to get for a carbed engine? I can read plugs but actually AFR would be better for tuning I think. Engine is new and mostly broke in - now we need to work on dialing in the carb. Have looked at Innovate stuff most say they are the best, anyway all input will be appreciat...

Quick heads up about May 23-24 event and Bimmerfest

May 23 is the Bimmerfest event at Auto club speed way, this event attracts any where from 1,500 to 2,500 or more cars. These people can make traffic entering a venue a nightmare! I have been to a half a dozen or so of these. They start arrive hours before the event gates open filling turn lanes and ...

Thank you all again for the advise - at this point I am thinking two different back halves one for tracks one for Auto-x. are there low sound limits at EL Toro? I do not remember being told we were too loud there with the car - old engine.

I agree Mark Toby should know some things about making this screaming BMW six's quiet. I hope to talk to him soon just need to find time. Bill is that a filled muffler or like a flow master with plates inside it? I think it is a filled "S" inside? Also I e-mailed the San Diego BMWCAA in San Diego an...

Re: Just 4fun, dyno run of the rebuild M20B25 in our FP car

Also we need help with exhaust/mufflers this thing is most likely currently above 100db's and not fun to be inside of for long runs. Any ideas or help will be greatly appreciated. Currently the system is two into one (2.5") at the flywheel, into an 18" long Cherry bomb glass pack and then into a 3"i...

Just 4fun, dyno run of the rebuild M20B25 in our FP car

Finally got it running it is an 85 BMW M20B25 six with a mix of older parts on it. This is not a killer HP engine but 67 more HP then our last engine. 176.55 HP at 6,600 rpm - the pull is from 3,000 to 7,500 in fourth gear. Hope to be out at El Toro on the 18th - still need to work on the brakes. ht...

WTB 15" x5"to5.5" wheels 4X100 bolt pattern

What I am looking for is car storage and trailing wheels for a 79 BMW 3 series. We do not have enough track wheels to use for this, Stock wheels are 13mm offset but we run studs and spacers anyway because of the wide track wheels. So I am thinking 25 to 30mm offset in a narrow wheel will work fine. ...
