Re: April Fastrack
all in all, sounds like a fair trade for giving up the R-comps. other than pissing off everyone that already owns the blingy shocks. The people who've been running R-comps on blingy shocks still have a place to play in limited prep SP classes if they want to keep doing it! I actually love this part...

Re: Looking for co-drive opportunity for El Toro ProSolo
I sold it. Too many car payments in the household. Kind of a bummer, but that's the way it goes. Until I figure out my next move I'll be looking for co-drives where I can- I've been bitten by the bug!

Looking for co-drive opportunity for El Toro ProSolo
I'm looking for someone who wants a co-driver for the El Toro ProSolo in April. I won't be competitive, but I can warm tires with the best of them! My experience to date has been in an RTR MX-5- I'm open to other RT* or ST* classes... anything higher than ST is probably too much car for me at this p...

Well, you'd better put stronger pistons in if you're going to expose it to qual environments.Steve Collins wrote:WIll,

Re: New to the Area
Hello, I just moved to the LA area. I have autocrossed a few times in the past with a group not affiliated with the SCCA. I would like to come out to autocross but I really don't plan on being competitive so I was wondering if it was possible to only come out to run at a practice event without regi...

Re: Post Car Classing Help Questions Here!
For your first season I would recommend putting a roll of wide, color-contrasting (the neon green stuff works well!) painter's tape in your autocross kit for putting the NOV letters on your car. Yeah, it doesn't look as cool as printed magnets, but you will only be using NOV for one season.

No tight corners? REALLY? The most common complaint I got was about the pin turn at the top of the hill.... At least by people who were approaching it at a decent speed. Speaking of tight corners, that right hander right before the finish was BRUTAL if you didn't set up correctly. Which I didn't on...

Re: So Fiat 500 is DOA ...
According to the results from Nationals, the Fiat 500 run in G stock was an Abarth. The Abarth is classed. All other 500s are excluded from stock. This has been the law of the land for months now (first published in the June Fastrack). Non-Abarth 500s can run in STF, provided they are actually prepp...

Re: 2013 PAX/RTP Released
[/code] Average was 0.0026 across all classes. If your PAX went up 0.002 or lower, you made out better than average, and if it went up 0.003 or higher you took it in the shorts relative to the average. Did you remove AM when calculating the avg? No, I didn't, lemme recalculate. *robot noises* Ok, s...

Re: 2013 PAX/RTP Released
Since I'm a nerd I calculated the differences. These are 2013 PAX minus 2012 PAX. Positive means that in 2013 the PAX is higher than it was in 2012. Kurt, your turbo will push as much air as the engine is asking for under normal conditions. The HP gains that people are reporting with NA engines will equate to maybe quicker spool times under initial throttle. How much quicker? Probably not very much. IMO, stay with paper. Just make sure to chang...

Looks like there's been a shift of pretty much every class up. The only class that went down looks to be BSP and a handful stay the same (ES, FSP, SMF, GP, EM, FSAE). Everyone else went up. A very significant thing I learned from driving Leonard's car is that I fit much better in an NC than an NB
I would have had video from Leonard's run in my car, but my GoPro battery was dead. I think I left it on over the lunch break :/
