Re: Post Car Classing Help Questions Here!
Rules are fine, as long as they are clear and apply to everyone equally, which they absolutely are not, in my experience with this organization. When I tried to play the game, I got the royal shaft from king KJ....yes, I am bitter about it.

Re: Post Car Classing Help Questions Here!
No one ever agrees here... it is a cluster f***. whatever class letters you put on your car, there will always be someone telling you to change it. Oh, and don't bother to make sensible suggestions; the system is firmly entrenched. With my unclasifiable car, I just race with the other clubs, like PC...

I would like to sign up my car in that event, but I don't see it on MSR, is there a different sign-up location? What is the typical cost for each day?

Re: 2012 El Toro Pro Solo 5/5-5/6
Can you sign up/pay for one day (Saturday), like two weeks ago, or do you have to pay for both days? and Is this a special Pro-event, not open to beginners?

Re: First time Saturday Noob..the good and the bad
Sorry,I thought I had made it clear; maybe you didn't see my earlier posts, regarding registration issues. I signed up my car, (to be driven by someone else). I sent in my check 4 days before the list was supposedly closed to new entries. I did not get on the list for unknown reasons, while others t...

Re: First time Saturday Noob..the good and the bad
Mr Christopher, or KJ, you treated me like I was a dog. No explanation of why or how long I had to stand there and wait. I even tried to talk to you later in the morning, and you made no attempt to explain what the problem was. I never attacked anybody on this board or at the event, and I was not at...

First time Saturday Noob..the good and the bad
Saturday was my first time at a Solo practice. Generally I had a great time, learned some things about my car, from some experienced drivers, and learned some things about how things work in this organization. It didn't start out so well though. I showed up, not knowing if my car would be allowed to...

Re: Post Car Classing Help Questions Here!
looks like I didn't get on the list for Saturday. I saw that the list was updated for Tuesday then again Wednesday, I guess there is a chance it took over 4 business days for my check to be received. If I show up anyway, is there a chance my car can run if there is a cancelation? there are 102 peopl...

Re: CASOC Practice Entry List
I just found this list, courtesy of Mr Hayter's link. I was waiting for entries to show up on Motorsport.reg list; "The entry list will post on April 1, 2012. Thank you for your interest. No entries are listed - this may be because the organizer has disabled this feature or there are no registr...

I checked the entry list and there is no one on it. this is what it said:
The entry list will post on April 1, 2012. Thank you for your interest.
No entries are listed - this may be because the organizer has disabled this feature or there are no registrations yet. List updated every 15 minutes.

Re: Post Car Classing Help Questions Here!
Looks like marginal weather Saturday. if it rains Friday night, is it likely there will be puddles on the course saturday morning; in other words, are there low spots that hold water? Just wondering, because if there is, can I bring a broom and try to dry it out a bit. I have no inner fender wells o...

yeah, that helps with mine too, but then it slows down too much. maybe I need to learn to go in hotter to begin with. Any body seen this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b8MdAA0ngf0" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I have watched it 50 times trying to figure out what he is doi...

Re: Post Car Classing Help Questions Here!
Mako, yes, I saw your offer, thanks; I appreciate it and hope to take you up on it. Sounds like fun. Looks like you might know how to use a Go-Pro too. I bought one over a year ago, took it out of the box and read the instructions about 4 times, couldn't understand the terminology, and put it back i...

Re: Post Car Classing Help Questions Here!
Steve E, I think you entirely missed my point......which really had nothing to do with women drivers. Never attended a Cars/Coffee show......shows are ok, but after a couple hundred of them...............not.

Re: Post Car Classing Help Questions Here!
I checked out the D mod rules last night,(up till 3 AM), looks like my car doesn't meet the safety related requirements, (about 6 items). It is a street car after all. I will not put a roll bar in it, for weight reasons; I just bought a 950$ Lithium-Ion starter battery, (3 pounds), On my quest for &...

Re: Post Car Classing Help Questions Here!
You know, I think You are absolutely right, except for the "attacking" part; I am exasperated. This is sounding more and more like it is not for me. It is hard to understand the program, my car is all wrong for it and I am not able to do it physically. All I have going for me is the desire...

"That is, if you don't cancel in time you still have to pay. And if you cancel in time but less than 100 people show up to the event, you still have to pay ." Thanks John, now that makse sense; they should say that in the first place. The way that it is written, it sounds like on of those...

Re: Post Car Classing Help Questions Here!
I am still trying to figure out what this means after reading it at least 30 times: Once on the entry list, the following conditions must be met or your check will be cashed: You must cancel by midnight, April 11, 2012 The event must have 100 entered at the site the day of the event." Does it m...

Re: Post Car Classing Help Questions Here!
I was going to sign up wednesday, just to make sure I didn't loose my money due to rain. My cars don't leave the living room if it looks like rain. So am I to understand that not only is there a 100 car minimum in order to have the test/Tune, but the maximum is also 100 cars? It doesn't say anywhere...

Re: Post Car Classing Help Questions Here!
Leonard, So does that mean I can still run on Saturday, without doing Sunday too? Yes, I read the rules one night, back in November I think. I was up til 6AM looking for how to class my car, and only got about 3/4 through it. What I could understand, didn't help....just made me really tired. I just ...

Re: Post Car Classing Help Questions Here!
In the old days, there was no such thing as Saturday practice or testing/tuning. I was not aware that just running on Saturday was any kind of problem. I was also not aware that there was no instruction available on Saturday. I assumed that both days were identical formats and proceedures, with the ...

Re: Post Car Classing Help Questions Here!
No, I wouldn't sign up for the Motor home jobs until I know the drill. Slips or grid is OK. Course setup/tear down works too. I don't mind a little work, just not to spry these days. I was only planning Saturday attendance, but might be able to do some work Sunday, if you're short. I live near by. N...
