Re: Returning after a few years.

Hi mike, The car was a lot more fun than I expected. I need to get some fresh tires since my Bridgestones were past their prime years ago with my Rx8 and now they’re done. Throttle response was a bit sluggish if I was out of boost and low in the rev range but that was bad driving on my part. It digs...

auto refreshing service?

I use to have a contact for a guy that did auto refreshing. He was really reasonable and good but its no longer active. I was wondering if anyone had a contact for someone who did that. Paintless dent removal, bumper respray, minor leather repair, that sort of thing. He use to show up with a transit...

Re: Sway bar bind / Polyurethane bushings HELP!

The poly bushings I got came from mazda motorsports. It was branded by them I beleive but it was just a kit they got from one of the big name poly bushing makers. I don't want to bad mouth a company on a web forum, if you want the company's name pm me. I tried really hard to make them work. They use...

Re: Sway bar bind / Polyurethane bushings HELP!

Early miata's were prone to breaking their front sway bar mounts. If you take a good look at the way it mounts you can see how a frozen bar would tend to bend the mounts and break them after awhile. I had a '91 miata that I put poly bushings in the A arms and would not do it again. They were a const...

Re: I'm interested in buying a Miata

Just a few additions to Leonard's post. In 2006 the LSD was a stand alone option so you may find it on a car without the sport package. Later years it was only bundled together. The sport package also has a different part number for the rear sway bar. I think its one mm larger for what that's worth....

Re: I'm interested in buying a Miata

I have a 2006 grand touring for sale. It was my autocross and daily driver. It has the bilsteins Leonard was talking about and a front bar from racing beat and bfg rivals with plenty of life left. It has the 6 speed trans with the limited slip diff and the 17 inch wheels. The car has just over 40,00...

Re: Trimming Fiberglass Safety

When I use to race the motorcycle I was always working with that stuff. I don't miss it. I used a respirator and did it outside with those cheap disposable pullovers from the home improvement stores, then I'd toss them. Probably overkill. I'll second using water when cutting to keep the dust down. F...

Re: Miata Misfire - P0303

If you could get the rebuilt head and don't have a garage you could rent space at one. Here's an option.

I've never used them, not connected in any way, etc. Good luck.
