Omaha --> Lincoln Sunday 9/2?

Due to a work deadline, I can't make the drive out with Eric this year. I'm flying into Omaha on Sunday, 9/2 @ 3:50 pm. Anybody else on a similar schedule? I'm happy to pitch in for gas, spilt an uber/lyft...

Re: 2016 National Events, Changes are happening...

Because there was confusion about this in the grid Sunday, here's clarification from the National Office: Hi, Mari, Match Tours do pay contingency the same as Champ Tours. The nice thing about it for Match Tours is it is only based on the Saturday performance and it is all on the same course. Brian ...

6 cone slalom
Increasing radius sweeper (actually would prefer steady state, but ok)
Decreasing radius sweeper
(+1 on the no pin turn! :-) )

Typed by Mari, but with input from Eric and Jon, too.)

Re: The OS Giken SoPac Super Regional - Registration is Now Open

This event conflicts with the FSAE West competition in Lincoln, NE. Are we considering allowing those members who are competing or working this event (which is staffed by SCCA) to petition to obtain their averages for this event for the purposes of local series points?

And major kudos to...Rick Brown, who showed us all that he's not JUST a timing and scoring wizard, but a pretty terrific event chair as well. :gpower: (I always wanted to be able to use the cheerleader smiley...)

Re: San Diego National Tour registration open, March 30-31, 2013

So...I'm looking for sunrise services, and not really finding them. (OK, there's one, it's kind of far away, and sounds like it will be mobbed.) Also thought about kidnapping one of our MDiv students to hold one for us at the start line. OTOH, the church Jon goes to while at college has services bot...

The motorsportsreg page still shows that we need a worker chief, so I was going to volunteer...but then I saw that Art had already volunteered.

Re: towing help in Corona

I don't actually know if it rolls. Pretty sure it can't move under its own power.

It's a mini pickup, I think.

Thanks for the offer, Steve. Our trailer is too big for this task. :(

towing help in Corona

A very dear friend of ours was in a bad accident on the 91. She's OK, but her truck was taken to the impound yard in Corona, where it is racking up pretty high storage fees. Does anyone have any ideas for getting it towed from there? Eric would do it for her, but he is in San Francisco, headed for I...

Roger Johnson's Acceleration and Braking Table

Hi all-- Roger Johnson found a problem in the Acceleration and Braking Table he presented at our course design seminary, and he and Karen Babb revised it. He has given permission to share it with any of you that are interested (i.e., not just attendees at the course design school). Unfortunately, it...

Re: Perpetual Hotel for Event Thread (priceline, etc)

Jonathan and I are headed to San Diego for his Air Force orientation. Although he will be attending UCSD, the orientation is at SDSU, which is east of the 15 on the 8...so not so far from QualComm. In browsing this forum, I see that Hotel Circle is scary (although possibly less so with just an MR2 ...

Re: Perpetual Hotel for Event Thread (priceline, etc)

Tell Jon to go on his own and thus not endanger his dear mother? Well...except that the reason that I'm not in Utah on the way to Nebraska with Eric right now is that I have to be there to sign the papers for his Air Force scholarship. (Yup, that 6'3" young man is legally still a child at 17.)
