Re: The February Events are Open for Registration

Always. One of the biggest ways you can contribute as a novice is to help clean-up after an event. This is a great way to help with an oft neglected club need and is the first step to becoming valued volunteer who we can call on when needed. Most practices sell out and many are turned away. However...

And Ed: I don't have a probe type pyrometer, but I have an infrared one which seems to do the job just as good you are welcome to borrow.

SCCA Membership Question

Hi everyone, I bought two weekend scca memberships when I attended two autocrosses in November and December of 2016. I was hoping to carry forward those two $15 payments to my 2017 yearly scca fees (as the membership form states "Limit two $15 discounts for a total of $30"). However, when I go to re...

Thanks again Doug! Actually, I already have those TRM C1 wheels "saved" in my tirerack account. Seems to me like the lightest 15 x 6" wheels are the NB 5-spoke wheels http://www.miata.net/faq/wheel_weights.html

Novice Participation Question

Hi everyone, I have a quick question about competing in the Novice class. Does participation in the remaining two championship events of 2016 (11/13 and 12/4) disqualify a Novice for competing in the 2017 Novice class? I thought I read somewhere that as long as you don't do more then 3 autox events ...
