Re: April Fastrack

have SK1 and SK2 be for cars with zero mods from the factory (other than tires) If you asked me 2 months ago, I wouldn't be opposed to this. But now, I would because I have to undo a stock legal mod. :D What about the traction control in Street? That is one more mod that may make folks not want to ...

I am thinking stock 1985 GTi with 15s and camber plates in street class would be fantastic and fun!

Re: April Fastrack

This is where my eyes blur. Will all the same popular cars start running in all the different classes with just wheel changes? Street has suspension modifications (bars, plates and $5000 shocks without reservoirs) Street has DOT extreme performance tires (200) Street has wheel dia allowances. Street...

Re: April Fastrack

I think the "camber spec" will be controlled with the way it is done. No cutting of towers and no drilling of holes and possibly no top plate assembly would limit the amount and prevent damage to the cars. I agree that some cars will get faster and others will not. Street class (if passed) will most...

Re: April Fastrack

Of course but that's what racing is about, there is simply no way you can make every car available competitive and the new rules won't do much to change that no matter how hard you try. It clearly is not the goal to make every car available competitive. I don’t see too many LTDs out on Sunday chasi...

Before anyone turns their world upside down, remember...it's just a proposal at this point. The funny thing is any time a rule change is passed (I know this a proposal) someone figures out a way to go faster and more money is spent doing it. Racing is like that. Most rule changes over the past 10 y...

Re: April Fastrack

Yes wheel dia and tire selection can make or brake you. 13s have no options for good street tires unless you have them custom made or import them (and you can't use non DOT). 13s have several R-comps. Cars with 13s really need to run on race tires. 14s have one size (185) and one tire that fits most...

Re: Where are all the B Stockers?

Just an observation,

RTR looks like fun but RTR really looks like CS on street tires. Given that RTR is a PAX class it is possible that RTR could shift year to year. It is kinda sad to see so many of the stock classes clustered into one RT class. It is nice to see all the new CS cars having fun.

That size chart seems pretty odd to me. I have been a Medium for most things but that chest measurement sizing just seems off. My chest is 40.5 how much room should there be to go up a size? I will let you judge that Rick between Small and Med for me. I submitted a Small but it just doesn't seem ri...

Re: Oct 14th Videos

I think If you had a volunteer sitting at the motor home with an FRS radio just for you it would help you. From my perspective (as a starter) I need to keep my eyes on the event and the staged car. The starter needs to look and see if any cars are having issues ahead as well as make sure the driver ...

We need 2 more course setup helpers for Friday October 12th

Note that doing setup counts as your work assignment for the weekend. It is time to get some helpers for setup on Friday October 12th at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana. I would like to start early if possible. 3:00 is setup time but I will be on site at 12:00. Not saying we need to spend the entire ...
