IS300 shocks & springs & sways

KW V3's, JIC, DG-5, Zeal, JRZ, Cusco Zero 2E, BC Racing ER All the above suggestions from an IS300 forum. I never hear of any of them, as my experience is BMW & Vette. Any suggestions from the group? This is 98% street use, but it feels like the shocks are full of marshmellows. Will probably do ...

Re: For BMW owners

An interesting development, I was waiting for car thief #5 and car thief #6 to appear. Makes you long for the "good old days" when it only took one guy to steal a car. In spite of the alarming headline on the TECHNOLOG "news" release it appears that the perp's had to push ...

I have heard some of the auto parts stores may offer "life time" warranties on wheel bearings, sorry don't know which. Maybe ck that out.

Re: Good Mail Order Source for Vette Bearings ?

Mako- most all the "non-race" Corvette bearing are made by Timkin and just labeled or packaged differently. When mine went I went to the Autozone near AAA Speedway picked one up for about $70 bucks installed it in the paddock and went back to running. Go ahead and buy the high dollar ones...

I believe you get what you pay for ... but this spread is ridiculous

The best is SKF "race" about $425/corner, then SFK non race about $350/ corner, then the rest. Good luck with the $80. ones you found.

I imagine, like most cars, it's much more work to replace the REAR bearings and replace the studs?

Not necessary.

Re: Which ARP Wheel Studs for '03 Z06

It depends on the wheel package, offsets of rims, tire clearance, mini tub, flairs, if you want to pull the corner to install, all that. Also they don't sell them in small increments of size, stocking 10 lengths instead of 3 would be expensive for the retailer. You can cut to desired length if you a...

Re: Can anyone recommend a good sports medicine doc?

I need a sports medicine doctor in or near Orange County. The urgent care doctor I saw on Saturday thinks I ruptured a spinal disc, and I (a) need to see someone to confirm this and form a plan to deal with it and (b) need to renew some prescriptions, if they're appropriate. The closer to Tustin, t...

Maybe,

:)

More likely there is a variation in policy/training/quality of employees at different stores. My problems were at the San Diego North County store.

Re: Is there a "season" when Craftsmen tools go on big sale?

On a different note, Craftsman tools (non-electric / powered) have a life time warranty. You do not need a receipt to exchange them. The cheapest way to pick them up is to watch garage sales, and take in used /broken tools, and exchange them for brand new pieces. These two ways are how I have amass...

Re: Getting your web site to "pop up" on Google etc.

Title tag and description are the most important. Meta tags are not used by Google to rank pages. Google doesn't say that they don't use them for something, just that they don't count in page ranks. What's your site address? Hi Bob, http://www.mobile-bookkeeping.com" onclick="window.open(...

Re: FS: BMW E36 Tie Rod Ends (Brand New)

I have a pair of Lemforder tie rod ends that were for my 1997 E36 M3. Part number should fit any E36 car and the E37 Z3, but check first: 32 11 1 129 315 32 11 1 129 316 These are brand new in the original unopened plastic bag. Found them while cleaning the garage, and I no longer have the car. The...

Getting your web site to "pop up" on Google etc.

I created a site a couple of months ago using GoDaddy software. This included meta tags on each page. I assumed that some programs called web crawlers or spiders would find it & then when the appropriate search words are entered that if my meta tags match a high % of them, then my site pops up o...
