Re: Time for STX2

Yes, every car should have a place to run in a street tire class. However, instead of 2 seat vs. 4 seat, they should classify based on performance. ie. combine STS and STS2 to form the slowest ST class. Add the 350Z, S2K, Boxter, etc to the faster classes, STU , STX, etc.. so like an ST1 and ST2......

Re: ST tire opinions ... Toyo R1R vs Star Z1

the Dunlops are great tires and last pretty long. I have about 175 runs on my set full tread so far. I've had some success both here and San Diego on them. They are a bit tall, but i've gotten used to them like that. I'm contemplating on getting another set shaved in 15's for next season.

STS Co-drive for 10/12 Champ

Hey guys, i am currently having my shocks rebuilt and might possibly not have the car ready by race day. If this is the case, it would be appreciative if I could co-drive with somebody for this event. I am a STS Civic driver, but i am open to any car available that is STS Legal. Thanks

George, Here is something to look into. Honda has written a TSB (technican service bulletin) regarding the symptoms you described. Whats happening is that the map sensor (located on top of your throttle bodies) has a loose connection. The remedy established by honda was a special zip tie that wraps...

SD Divisional Videos

Heres my video for the weekend. Recorded best run of each day.

I had a blast and was very exciting all the way to the end. Felt like i was going to have a heart attack with the closeness in times in STS.
