I ran my second ever autocross with PCA at Snow Valley. It would be kinda nostalgic for me to run this event, but my car will be very apart... Maybe I'll bring the TDI Wagon. haha

Re: Just 4fun, dyno run of the rebuild M20B25 in our FP car
Sounds good! Talk to Toby Larsson. I believe he was running a Burns muffler on his (now Henry Bjoin's) FP car. I don't know the details, but it sounded good and was loud, but not too loud.

Re: STX 240sx Questions
Good advice all around. I agree with Alex, too. Check with your local STX competitors and see if they have a problem with you running with them until you switch things over. I don't think they'll care unless you're regularly kicking their butts. :D Lemme just add, don't be discouraged by the rules a...

Re: February 8th Autocross Results
The technical difficulties are that Rick left the charger for the timing laptop in the motorhome. He said he will try to get to it this weekend. I came here looking for results, too. haha. We're spoiled, because usually he's awesome about having results up quickly. So he's earned patience points for...

Re: NEW! Live Results
I would love pax position and time! We don't need color. Could we do just make or model of car to shorten it? I can do just make and model, but it is not size limited so it auto adjusts to the biggest name and there is always at least one "Nineteen Seventy Five George Forman Edition Huppmobile...

Re: Wheel Width v. Tire Question
Nice lookin' ride! I too, am terrible with names, but I have seen yours around some. I haven't been around CSCC much in the past year because I've been raising money to get my STU project off the ground. Anyone in STU has an up-hill battle this year. It's gonna be a very tough class, but I would lov...

Re: Wheel Width v. Tire Question
To answer your original question, if you're camber limited, then yes, tire fitment will be more important than tire width. 8.5" is on the narrow side for 255s. However, most STX cars run 255s on a 9" wheel with no problem which isn't a huge difference. I'm sorry, but I have to challenge Ri...

Jeff and I will definitely be in STU. I'm super happy to see the boost buggies sticking around! I'm looking forward to running in a big, diverse, head-to-head class again! Hope that answers your question, Silvio.

Re: Post Car Classing Help Questions Here!
Intake duct, canards and non-factory front splitter are technically illegal. Maybe ok to run it like that at regional event, if your competitors are ok with it. Fun car, good luck. Rick Edit: Noticed that the Varis pic was probably only to show the intake, so disregard the canards comment. :) Well,...

Couldn't agree more! SO much fun! The slalom entry and exit also gave you a lot to think about. Even the line selection in the sweepers at the beginning was a fun challenge. Thanks for all your hard work, Christine (and helpers). It really paid off!
