+1 on the impact gun. Make sure you have a good supply of air/pressure. If it is really tough, make sure you have a good impact gun. (SnapOn, Ingersol)

I was thinking of getting a small enclosed trailer. You could haul multiple karts/gear and have a place to store it in when you get home. I have seen some at Home Depot.
Not sure what your towing capacity is on a Subi/hitch combo and what the gross wt. of the trailer is?
