Re: Rules Proposal: Averages

Since we approved the "concept" at the committee mtg, with final wording forthcoming. I hope I haven't stepped on any toes working on this. I believe the following cuts down on the word count, and includes everything discussed at the meeting. Thanks to Bob and Curt for all your above revis...

Re: Are We Allowed to See Club Team Picks?

Some of the teams have so few members we don't turn in a sheet, we just run the standing team. When were lucky we actually have 5 people there.

It's one signature for spectating children not entering a hot area, which means grid or course. It's two for those who enter those areas and/or are going to compete or ride with a car on course. I seam to remember children are not allow in Grid or on course when hot.... unless competing, then the w...

Re: ProSolo LA 2009?

In the past cases where a Pro is before a Tour the car count is lower than normal at the Pro. Thanks Jason, that makes sense. My confusion was not reading the comment properly, I saw "Papa" and immediately thought CalClub, as that's the normal context in which the term is used on this boa...

AS ride for 11/9 Event

Subject basically says it. I'm home, and looking for a ride in AS for the event this weekend (and beyond). If I can find a ride(s) for the remainder of the year, I think I can make my minimum for the class.... but not to worry, I can't move into the trophies, no matter what I do, it's more about fin...

Re: Proud to be a racist too....

I'm not sure which attempt that was, but a change would require an amendment to the U.S. Constitution. To abolish the EC yes, to change how a states EC is allocated, no. Personally I would like to see the EC go away, I'm realistic, in my lifetime that will never happen. But states decide how there ...

I know WHY it was created, but in this day and age, shouldn't the electoral votes at least SOMEWHAT reflect the popular vote numbers? They could... and we attempted a few years back here in CA. If we could devise some sort of shaired appropriation of votes vs. winner gets all. I'd even go along wit...

Kinda interesting comparing the above site reporting as counted, vs. NBC Predictions, and how different they are. As of 6:59pm NBC reports Obama 200 McCain 124, the web site I found above is reporting Obama 149 McCain 159. I realize the "as counted" can be skewed heavy in the early reports...

National..... Hertz is the only one I know who has a guarantee, but only on the "premium" cars. Did you know they have Miatas at the LAX location? I have on occasion secured a specific vehicle from Enterprise, but every time it was the day before, and the car was sitting in the parking lot...

Apparently we have some misconceptions.... The primary front lot BMW and other companies hold their demo drives on is probably twice the size of Lot 12, so not sure where "small" comes from. Securing the space isn't that difficult, it has fencing on all the exterior edges (Huntington Blvd,...

Heard a radio news story about the incident this afternoon. (according to them) the man saw the cubs, the mother was asleep a few feet away. He thought he could pet the cubs without waking the mother. Apparently the mother wasn't asleep and was able to swipe at him without even getting up. After doi...
