Re: Event Officials Needed April 23-24 2016

As Chief of Gate I get to poach a couple of workers for early morning Gate duty Saturday and Sunday. This counts as your work assignment for the day. Get it over with first thing and then have the rest of the day to kick back, relax and have fun. We need 2 Gate workers on Saturday morning to work fr...

Re: Post Car Classing Help Questions Here!

The Exige S is classified in SSP.
A tune is ok in this class, but you need to run the stock pulley.

Changing the pulley bumps you up to SSM.

If you had >140 treadware tires you could run it in CST locally. Our run-what-you-brung class for street tires.

Looking for a co-drive for a few months

Hey folks, Finally killed the 'stones on the ST. Rather than buy another set to run until Bill's DP Miata is ready, I was hoping to find a co-drive opportunity for the next few months. I'm a decent instructor with 30 years of experience in just about every kind of car, so I might be of some use to s...

Re: Post Car Classing Help Questions Here!

Car seems to be legal for SCCAs Street Mod class - so long as it is over 2160 lbs.
that's based on 1800cc turbo, solid rear axle and <275 size tires.
So that's another place to play if you want to run sticky Hoosier DOT race tires.

I'm signed up to run GS in the second group.

I don't use the velcro. You are welcome to the bits that are attached to my transponder. I've never peeled off the backing tape and stuck it to anything...

I'll be at the event Sunday.

How about a rental car pax handicap? Only if there's price limit on the daily rental cost. No fair getting a rental pax handicap and then renting a Ferrari F430... Actually, we could just set it up as a claiming race. You show up in a F430 and I'll show up in a Mazda 3 from hertz and I can just cla...
