It's not something I've ever seen called out before. As long as it's secure we are ok with it (I've used a gopro suction mount on the outside of my car before and had no problems).

I believe Mark Deshon (local driver) can do alignments at his shop. Try looking up Diftech and let him know you're a Cal Club driver!

Aftermarket short ram and CAI intakes can blow sound too as we found on the little STS Civic. Technically no factory car (assuming no exhaust cutout used) should blow sound ever as delivered from the factory. The intake noise on 4-cylinders can boost the sound quite a lot. S2000's have the same pro...

Please think of the Aug 3/4 event as a "Foot in the Door" event, that is helping us quickly establish precedent with the site for more future (scheduled well in advance) events there. Yep, we would be foolish to let the opportunity pass us by after we have been patiently waiting to get th...

As soon as docs are signed all will be revealed. Google maps Santa Anita and you can see which lot has been used for autocross before. While this is short notice, this is the date they offered and we are eager to establish a relationship. Rick is correct. We are moving quickly here so we can start ...

I have a 2019 fiesta st. The only mods I have on it are lowering springs and camber bolts. What class would I be in? Also this would be my first autocross Ben, your car would be in HS is you ditched the springs and camber bolts (and it'd be very competitive to boot!). Otherwise you'll slot into the...

Whatever tires I get will be mounted on 19x11 wheels. I'll be getting them in 305/30/19. I'm seriously considering the BFG because I have heard they take heat better. Although I read yesterday that Goodyear will be producing the Supercar 3 in a bunch of new sizes. They will have a 305/30/19 also. I...

Hi Obed, To start, I would browse through the SCCA Solo rule book to get an idea of where your car should be classed (link here https://www.scca.com/pages/solo-cars-and-rules ) Just from looking at your mod list though, your best bet is to just run our CST (California Street Tire) class. This class ...

I believe your car falls in to FS as it's a V8 Sedan that is not otherwise classed (NOC) per the 2018 solo rulebook.Brent Bell wrote: ↑Sun Apr 21, 2019 2:47 pm Please help class my Mercedes-Benz 2008 CL-550. It is stock with a 5.5l v8.
