Re: 2012 Nationals run days

Night driving is much cooler and easier on the car, the eyes, and the A/C. Nights are when the MOOSE come out to play dodge ball with your Dodge truck. Save Bullwinkle!!! Drive in the daylight!!! And deer, did some serious damage to Henry Botkins truck going thru the 54. In 2006 I did 22 hour...

Re: Photos/videos March 18th PSCC Autocross Sunday

50D is what I used last year. I don't have anything dramatic like Larry Chen and his 600. I have a Canon 300 f4, that on a 50D is like a 480 mm ... excellent for AX. I also have a 1.4X that I use with it for a bit more reach. I also have a 500 mm F6.3 mirror lens, but it's very difficult to use, ie...

I can't think of any car in your fleet that would use 17's ;)

I have a set of these for my Celica (that I bought from Jason  ), great tire and handles heat cycles better than Hoosiers.

Re: SCCA Time trials @ Buttonwillow March 24-25

Shouldn't this be in the EVENTS section? We ARE suppose to be supporting the SCCA Time Trials program. No need to hide it here ... as long as it doesn't conflict of course with our schedule ... which this one doesn't I put it here because I know how some people feel about promoting a non auto-x eve...

Mako, will you be there too?

Saturday configuration is 27 CW
Sunday configuration is 1 CW

Perfect time for those who usually run with SV to try something other than 13 CW ;)

SCCA Time trials @ Buttonwillow March 24-25

The first time trial of 2012 will be held at Buttonwillow on March 24&25. This is one of the better deals to get on a track, $125.00 for one day or $200.00 for both days, transponders are available for rent too. Three sessions per day and no work assignment ;) Any car that can pass a solo tech, ...

Re: Totalled 10AE Miata...What to do?

I'm hoping I can find a clean body that needs a rebuild for super cheap, I would then turbo it and have a fun street car. http://www.sccaforums.com/forums/forumid/65/threadid/416785/scope/posts" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Not so much for street use but $750.00 is cheap ...

couldn't get the car prepped ... after 5 months of neglect and needing to build the mini battery adapter. :( Don't change battery size if you want to keep the car ITA legal, if you're prepping for a different class nevermind. LMK when you're going out next time, sorry you couldn't make it last week.
