Re: F1 Spoiler

Aaaaaaaaaaaargh! My freakin PVR decided that the real broadcast on Fox wasn't as important as the phantom broadcast on Speed and didn't record it. Luckily, I caught the last 30 min or so, but I have no idea what happened to Hamilton or Kimi (or Kovalainen and Massa, for that matter) Guess I'l...

I know a really high-end guy who comes to your location. He does Audi R8s and Lambos in prep for press junkets and stuff. Here are two of their recent jobs. Their phone is 626-964-0808, Superior Shine. Talk to Jose "Joe" Fernandez.

Re: Speed Ventures Track Day

That looks like a blast! What do they tell you about passing and racing wheel to wheel? It looks like it was mostly lead-follow, but there was some passing. That could get a little sketchy if people don't have the experience to pull it off. Is there some sort of restriction?

143 days -- I keep leftovers in my refrigerator longer than that LOL. Remind me not to go near your fridge :o Anyway, back to that first article, it's interesting to see the Repubs in the position of trying to define policy and the dems trying to avoid it. The last few elections, it seems like it's...

Re: The Emporer Has No Clothes

no matter how great the Iraq success
She had me up to here. I think all but the most ardent Bushies can agree, regardless of political affiliation, that Iraq has been a monumental cockup. There has been very little "success" in Iraq, and none of it was "great."

Re: 2008 F1 Podium Picker Challenge: Canadian Grand Prix (Rd 7)

The beemers really should be in their element in Canada with the super fast track...so todays practice results are a bit surprising. Can't quite tell if they're sandbagging or there's something not quite right with the setup. Maybe the mechanics are getting back at Robert for repeatedly saying the ...

Question is whether it's gonna rain. If so and the cars are competitively close, then I have to give it to the Finn...they love driving in the rain and muck. But I don't think it's gonna rain, at least not hard enough to make a huge difference.

I was thinking Station Chief La Paz, Bolivia.
ROTFLMAO. You're right, the shirt would have to be khaki and the glasses Ray Ban cop specials for him to be a cop. The tropical shirt is the tipoff.

So you haven't heard the program ARB is trying to shove through on HD Diesels? Latest form would make all pre-98 HD diesels pass 2005 emission standards by 2009, all pre-2005 HD diesels pass 2007 emission standards by 2011, and by 2015 all On road HD diesels to meet 2011 emission standards. Oh, Mot...

so when do the TCPC (Team Challenge Post Count) names need to be in by?
Given that we have The Mangler, Aaron and Ashley, as well as a host of other famously windy windbags who just haven't got into the swing of things yet, I think CASOC has it all locked up.

Tom Berry drove my car at the May event. My best time to that point had been an 80.0 and he got a 71.6. My next run after that was a 75.3. Needless to say Tom opened my eyes a bit. Most memorable comment: "Wow, that was actually really fun. I thought it was going to suck." (bear in mind th...

This has been on mine for about the same. From the same series as Ken's. I thought this was the best shot, though, as you can see the line the car is going to take. I can almost feel the Gs.

I'm a freak too and Mosley kinda freaks me out. But I really don't care what people do. God bless ol' Max if he knows what he likes and gets to it. The point is he let his personal stuff tarnish the sport. And whether fair or not, the reaction to HIM is having profound effects on his organization w...
