Re: Proposed CST pax modifier adjustment
How about the pax is actually correct. The rule aside from street tires is that is has to be "capable" of being registered, so want I see some active areo sucker cars that weight 800lbs. If someone really took advantage of the rules I think the pax would make more sense. In any case its n...

Re: Proposed CST pax modifier adjustment
To play devil's advocate, CST is not a real SCCA class and doesn't need to be made competitive in PAX with other classes. The lack of rules can allow (on rare occasion) for a well setup CST to beat out a lot of other street tire classes. Personally, I would not be a fan of seeing CST cars out-PAX ot...

I have a 2013 Scion FRS my mod list is: -UEL Header -Catback exhaust -Drop in air filter -Stage 2 e85 tune -Coilovers -Michelin pilot super sports 255/35/18 all around -Wheels: 18x9.5 +35 The E85 and wheel size knock you out of the Street Touring category and your lack of Hoosiers means you really ...

Re: PSCC/Morgan Plus 4 Event
On top of that, thank you Brian for being the Event Chair. I think we isolated the timing problems to a new condition. It was either low batteries in the finish lights or a bad angle for the receiving unit toward the sun, but once both of those were corrected the remaining runs were flawlessly time...

Re: Excellent course this weekend
As far as DNFs are concerned, In the 4th group there were several that happened in the first turn around at the exit chute. People would either drive around the outside of the chute or if they set up good and early they would actually go to the inside of the chute. There was also an occasional DNF ...

Re: Excellent course this weekend
Were there any other common DNF areas? I'd like to know so we can consider those carefully for future courses. In the first group, the gate/chute before the last turnaround at the end was probably a third to half of all the DNFs in that group. Yeah that gate was the main culprit outside of drivers ...

Re: Excellent course this weekend
As I told you in person Reed, I too enjoyed the course and thought it was fun. Great way to show that reducing some of the top speeds and mixing things up doesn't mean that you can't still have a fun FLOWING course that appeals to a wide audience. Only nit is holy DNF's for some folks :( Yeah the D...

Re: CST Tire Treadwear Rules Change
I think more competitors have gravitated towards CST than CSM because of the open, less-restraining rules for car prep and the friendly-fun competitive atmosphere of the class along with the camaraderie amongst the drivers....plus we don't got enough monies for any R-compound purple crack  :P ...

A favor, please cull out any really bad cones you come across while you are setting up. Need to reduce the amount of cones in the motor home. Thanks. How many are we trying to get rid of? Maybe I can help remove really bad cones & donate some marginal cones for local FSAE practice? :) At least ...

Yep, you should be fine in BS so long as you haven't made any modifications outside of the street class rules.DIEGO TOBAR wrote:Hello muchachos

Re: 5 minutes between runs
I think it boils down to driver and grid person responsibility. Without looking it up, I assume the 5 minute rule is not a required part for local events. The grid person needs to be flexible to send another car/line if necessary to keep event flow going. Drivers need to let the grid person know in...

Not sure where you're located Earl but in the South Bay many of us use West End Alignment.
If you're in Orange County you could swing by FRSport as well for an alignment as a few of our regulars work there!
