Re: Tread wear rules?

The use of methanol injection (like nitrous oxide) is banned not because of classing but because of safety. Since that is the case we cannot allow it at our local events regardless of car class. I have a what if ? Seb. What if a nitrous bottle is present , but empty? does it need to be removed?? Sa...

Re: SK2 @ GRA

Great driving Kurt! SK2 is a lot of fun, the index is kind of a pain sometimes but its still fun. I think the mini will suit you just fine for SK2 this year. Courses with less room for more powerfull cars to stretch their legs out will be better for you. More twisties and you are in there! p.s. if ...

These are heat cycled out , have over 100 runs, but they still have good tread depth. Great for practice or street tires. I can bring these out to this Sundays event. Okay, I can buy (or at least see the logic in) all the arguments against street tires in stock except the economic one. As I showed in a previous thread, in my case, R-comps are significantly more expensive than competitive street tires. Driving in STX the last year, I've driven on basically everyt...

Re: SCCA Solo Class Article/Discussion

Just to clear up the facts- i am not advocating for the bannage of r's in stock. I might be on board for the Front or Rear bar in stock, but i feel it is fine the way it is otherwise.
Now you want to talk car classing? Let me get out the my book of !@#$%^ expletives first.

Re: 2011 El Toro Pro Solo 4/8-4/10

Anyone need a class filler for the Pro? The clutch on the S2000 is going bad, and at this rate, I don't have the time or funds to get it fixed before the Pro. It looks like several classes need a couple warm(ish) bodies to fill for the class, so I'm happy to help! James Calling Tom Denham. Tom, if ...
