Mazda has always had the patch requirement. They don't hold solo to the same requirement but please continue with your follow up to confirm.

You could try FRSport in Fountain valley. They may be able to source tires and also they may have some used sets they would be willing to sell from their BRZ that they campaign. Ask for Cat and tell them I sent you.

If you want to build an FC Turbo it will not be competitive in my opinion except for either SM2 or XP class. It would also be a lot more fun in either class and you would not have to run stock turbo etc. Just a thought from a previous RX7 owner.

Those were flywheel horsepower figures not rear wheel numbers I believe. At least that sounds familiar to what I have read in brochures before.
