Re: Traffic School

Marilyn is out of town a lot, so gave up on the fighting idea.

She is going to try Nicole's suggestion. Thanks!

My wife got a speeding ticket, and needs a recommendation on an online traffic school. Any suggestions?

Pete,

I'm glad to hear you are OK. It's a good lesson to all of us how fast things can happen. I'm hoping to keep teaching Kevin about looking ahead to help avoid bad things happening.

Re: Does anyone have a local source for Alumalite or Alumicor?

Retail price - as of yesterday - was $135.79 + tax for white. It was about $175 for black. I can buy a lot of Bumper Black spray cans for $40+. They list it as 6mm but it doesn't look like it's anywhere near that thick. It may be 4mm - I'll have to measure it. Mike Maybe you need to add water? :mrg...

Re: Autocross with Koni FSD?

Does anyone have personal experience using Koni FSD struts for autocross? I found a stellar deal and I'm tempted, tempted.... }:) Are they legal? My understanding is they're self adjustable. But the rules only stipulate that you can only have two separate *external* adjustments (FSDs don't have any...

Re: "AUTOX M3" has left the building...

Did he give you a reason for not continuing in DS with it, I was thinking it would be a great DS, But it didn't do as well as i thought it would have at the ,SD tour. Because it went through a set of new Hoosiers in 12 runs! Sounds like he needs more camber. I'd suggest 3.5 degrees. That ...

Steve,

They are. The "bolt-in" unit I was talking about is the whole diff case. You can buy the complete unit from Turner or HP Autowerks. It's very expensive thought. For now I'll make due with the electronic version.

Re: "AUTOX M3" has left the building...

Will the new differential fit? Sure. The Quaife unit will work fine in with the OE 3.08 gearset, or we can get one with the 3.46 from the automatic. Either way, the whole unit just bolts right in. But don't you think we should wait for it to arrive before we order parts? :ibrightdea:
