Watched it on Netflix instant streaming when it was put up briefly. Really liked it. Wouldn't mind going to the theater to watch it again.

Re: Custom Magnet need

The silver Steve got from Gunnar matches the stock graphics from the factory 86 GLHS decals. I have no idea where Gunnar got it. But he did special order it when he did numbers and stickers for me. The sample I gave him came from a guy in Florida who does Shelby reproduction decals. Positive Impress...

Re: which brand of garage floor tiles?

Guess it depends on the quality of the epoxy covering. Mine looks just as good now as when I applied it 4 years ago. But I did use an industrial version that was rated for a 5000lb capacity forklift running on it. It's handled spills of all the usual automotive type fluids and solvents quite well.

Re: Hybrid Power!

We had a volt and a leaf for a week of testing. Unimpressed by both. While the leaf could work as my daily driver( average 26 miles a day) the one we tested went dead in 38 miles. When they picked up the volt from Santa Clarita, it depleted the battery after 29 miles on the highway. Granted the 14 i...

Orange cones

Where does the region buy their cones? We are looking into replacing some of our dead ones at work. Previously they bought them from a merchant who sold them at a "great deal" of $20/EA. In a quick search I found some online for as little as $8/EA. But trying to get the best price we can.

I got 1 engineer at work to commit to coming up. 3 others are on the fence. Trying to get my manager to bring out an old test car for "evaluation" with the rest of the engineers. Next week I'm gonna work on getting some door prizes for the banquet. A company this large should have some pro...

I've seen a Mojave Green 3 times already this year. 1 Sidewinder and 1 Red Racer. All by my house. None at work so far, but the drivers have killed a couple. They see a snake and somehow they get so frightened by it, that it might jump thru the closed window and bite them, that they forget to avoid ...

Went to Lone Pine today. Looked at the site. Minor cleanup needed. For those that have been up there for cleanup, it's about as much as last year. No where as bad as the year before.

Bad news, High Sierra Cafe has closed up.

Seems like he's planning on having the event. But I haven't heard much else. I hope this event happens, I've been bugging people at w...

Re: F125 is not in CPM or did I miss ---

Steve, if that was true, why did John, Jay, Pat, and I have to fight it out with the hosting club because they bunched us all together in CPM when we all registered FP? Not once, but several times. There were several discussions at events, on the forums, and even in the Rules Commitee(which I was a ...

Re: F125 is not in CPM or did I miss ---

Years ago most prep and mods ran their own class. Then a few loud people wanted to make all prep and mods run CPM. even when there were up to 4 competitors in a class. Even with the fight the drivers put up, the powers that be decided to make them run CPM even if they did have a class. Now people ar...

Re: F125 is not in CPM or did I miss ---

If F125 competitors were running in CPM shouldn't they have ran in the same run group as CPM? if not, aren't they supposed to get the other competitors and event masters approval for early/late runs? The F125rs that ran in CPM ran with CPM in the fourth heat. Then I miss read Dons post. Thought he ...

Final gear tested a bike(forget which one) against a Westfield(think DSR). they overlaid the videos and it was obvious the Westfield was quicker thru the corners. Straights belonged to the bike.

Re: garage epoxy coating

I used the industrial version of Aervoe's floor epoxy. It went on real easy after the prep( like mike explained) but I didn't have any problems with lift when rolling it out. 1kit (2gallons) did 1coat on the floor of a 2car garage. I used 2kits and the floor turned out great. Then Irish stopped by a...
