There was only one there----and it seems to have either broke or something.... Not bad on the first day at 61 (with cone) and 62. I would say that would be far from conclusive!

http://solo2.com/calendar.asp doesn't currently include our own events. That's because it will no longer include them there. Gio, I still don't understand! Re: Great Course - Kudo's to the designer

It does occur to me during one of my runs the muffler hanger on my passenger side broke clean off. welded piece and all. I do not believe that anything on the Sprite broke. I'll find out later in the week after my back gets to feeling good enough for me to get out of bed and get the car off the tra...

Re: Event Calendar - 2011

You didn't read it all very carefully. The dates will be on both solo2.com and MSR in a day or so. I did read it very carefully!! I still want to know where the 2011 events that were on our calender, went. It does not say that they will be on our calender, "but I think the dates should be on t...

I am not understanding this----where did the list of OUR events go!! It was on our calendar now only everyone else's is on ours. But, it was moved over to Motorsportsreg, but they only go through the 2/12 practice on our page. But, maybe all of our events are on their big calendar, I didn't have tim...

Mako, Those sure cost more than these--- http://www.ultrashieldrace.com/prod.php?id=33" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; . I really like my Ultrashields, better than the Simpson and Schroth that I had before.

Re: Really good NACAR race lightly attended

I can count only 9 passes on the track for the whole race. This is a crude comparison, but it kinda gets the point across. F1 is like chess, NASCAR is like checkers. when you can go into a corner, trading paint, and basically come out of the corner 4 wide with little to no damage, of course you'll ...

Re: Really good NACAR race lightly attended

Pay attention. That was more cheating, and also there were no other cars wrecked in that incident. Again you're comparing apples to oranges. You do not see (or rarely see) one F1 car take out 10 in one lap. NASCAR it's like every other race. You can't take out 10 F1 cars after the first lap----by t...

[quote="Steve Ekstrand"]So if that is all NASCAR can bring to AutoClub Speedway, what is the future of the track?[/quote Then next year they are not bringing it but once and not even during the chase-----I'm sure that somewhere around 70 to 80 thou for a race (so noted by the TV announcers...

What a bunch of racing snobs----the Nascar race on TV Sunday was great. The parade in Japan was not------after the first turn the race is over! Oh, I forgot lap 2, they (F1) only have one nut keeping the wheels on and they can't even get that right!!! For those that have not watched Nascar this year...

So Don, assuming a spridget is a spridget given how much you can modify them, could you build yours into a functional clone of Jeff's and run a street-port 13B rotary in DMod? Bill, First, probably yes! But, I was more interested in the possibility of going the 1.4 engine with a turbo route! One of...
