Re: 20 people needed 4 Non SCCA Work/Run free practice Sept 13th

Just got in from a full day of practice and helping with the event at Irwindale. My hat's off to Doug for stepping up and doing a most steller job today. From what I understand this event got dumped on him in a big way, and I for one what to say what a terrific job he did in getting things done! THA...

Historic BBQ after 08-23-09 event, etc...

Well, it was historic to see all of the Historic Class drivers come together for a BBQ after the event yesterday. Cal Woosley (Morgan) and his wife Wendy invited the whole group over to his house for some burgers & suds after we finished our run group. This was truely special to see a bunch of h...

This was just posted by another Fiat guy. His 3 year-old son made him hook up a USB steering wheel so that he could drive in my video. So happy to see that our next gen of autocrossers are starting so early! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z-xM7bK1o7A" onclick="window.open(this.href);return...

2009 Concorso Italiano...

Took the Mighty Fiat 850 Sedan up to Monterey on Friday for the 2009 Concorso Italiano. I placed the car in line with the rest of the Fiats and then decided to go look for AR Ricambi's booth. Found the booth and a couple of minutes later my friend Jack came running up to tell me that my car had been...

I can send them out to Embee. They do all my pistons (thermal barrier and anti-friction) and header coatings. I'll have to check on prices, They pick up and deliver directly to my shop.

Course was lots of fun, especially driving Craig Way's Mighty Mouse Fiat 85o Spyder. Got some serious seat time in the car to get myself tuned up for National's. This was the first time anyone had driven the car faster than Craig normally does. Oops... not politically correct as I was told, but hey....

John, you own a machine shop, right? Couldn't you re-drill some other wheels? Redrilling wheels is not something that I like to do unless I have oversize lug-bolt/nut seats to install, and the fact that hub-centric rings are required in most cases - not insurmountable for me to do, just time consum...
