Re: How To ... transfer from Old PC to New PC ?

I usually do it manually as I only transfer my data that I keep on a separate drive, but this may be a starting point:

NASCAR question

I saw this NASCAR photo in R&T and noticed the fluorescent green straps that seem to be coming out of the wheel centers and kind of just flap around and go under the fender... what are those for?

Re: Spot that DNF

I don't see it either. Kris G. had me ride with him on his second run because he was called for a DNF on his first and didn't know where it was. Ironically, he DNF'd his 2nd run because he got crossed up in the offset cones after the start. Yeah, well, when I looked at the video I made of my first ...

Re: iPad

Yeah, that is an option, as is Copilot Live that a friend suggested, but since I will not really be using the fancy nav features, they are kind of overkill, as I just want to look at the map (and hopefully get my position as well, although that may not work if there is no wifi and no paid for cell d...

Ah, ok, the topo app, yes that is not really what I need.
The built in app downloads maps as you go, so since I was not planning to pay for 3G/cell data while in Norway that will not work, as I will only have free wifi where available.

Re: iPad

Excellent -- I was hoping someone was discussing IPads. I'm in the market too. Probably the 3G/64. So someone tell me if I'm screwing up here: I expect to only use it away from home. #1 will be on occasional off-road expeditions where I'm towing my Jeep around the southwest. The IPad will host my t...

mobile detailer in oc?

Does anyone have a mobile detailer or shop to recommend in the Fullerton or Costa Mesa area?

I would like to treat my Z06 to a good paint cleaning and polish job but never have time to do it myself...

Thanks,

Re: Cougar Replacement

One of the reasons to move up a class is to get a decent seat! Being in Henry's ASP Vette with it's racing seat and small steering wheel is a joy. I rode with Lisa S when she did her first lap in her new/ex-Lynch Z06. It was funny seeing her try to reposition her bum after every corner. Seems like ...

Re: Anyone have an open seat in 06 up Miata for Sunday?

I do - STR first heat. A thousand thanks to you Max for letting me try your nimble little fast car. Loved it! My driving really sucked today though, especially in my own car, with a lot of DNFs to avoid mowing down a bunch of cones, and coned runs too, and I almost never hits cones...

Anyone have an open seat in 06 up Miata for Sunday?

Thinking about getting one but would like to try one first. Eventually targeting STR, but prepped for CS, SK2, or CSP be fine too. I could do tire warming or run at any time it would work best for you. PM me your conditions. I did drive one at a Mazda Zoom Zoom event a few years back and it seemed l...
