Re: power brakes vs manual brakes... experiences?

The original bolt-on kit I was looking @ is unfortunately a single circuit bmc. No ABS, but I think the tandem bmc wilwood sells should work & be legal for XP. I just have to figure out how to mount it now & connect it to existing parts. http://www.tiltonracing.com/content.php?page=list2&am...

They were used for nationals last year plus 20 runs on 2 and less than 10 on the other 2, in fact, 2 of them still have the OPR from Lincoln and are probably brand new under the gunk--- :D

Thanks

Making Rain Tires--Groooovin' idea...

Terry, Midwest Hoosier, suggested that instead of buying a new set of rains, I should take an older set and have them grooved. Anybody know someone that could make rains out of my 20x8x13--R25b's.

Just in case you need some final Test & Tune, there is a great place in Salina, Ks. If I need the extra time with some help from Bo Rader, I'll go the Hwy 54, see how Dorothy Gale is doing in Liberal and how Greensburg is rebuilding.....

Re: Questions for Nationals in Lincoln

What is the best route towing to Lincoln? I think your options are mostly 15-70-76-80 or 15-80. Taking the 70 is really pretty but you have to tow up to the top of eisenhower pass... 11,158ft. The 80 through Wyoming is the most boring stretch of road imaginable. But it's highest point is only 8,640...
