Re: January 16/17 2015 Picture/Video Thread

New Bridgestone RE71R tires produced a miracle. This was my best autocross performance in years! I concur! Took a gamble on the Dunlops two days before the Bridestone release based upon the prior Gen for each tire. I was 2-4 sec off pace all last year. Stood on my very 1st run, with rubber nubs sti...

Re: How does the year end standings / trophies work?

Inexplicably, San Diego has somehow become much further away than in the past and I no longer attend regularly. I won't be in a SD club in 2016. Can I still renew my card for $10 with no club in case I do want to come down occasionally? Nope, Hommie (S.D) don't play that game! But... just like in L...

Re: How does the year end standings / trophies work?

Your description of SD rules are incorrect. In San Diego points earned aside, you must attend 2/3ds of all events to qualify for year end trophy. Then they remove the lowest points to nominilize to those 2/3rd of events (rounded up). In LA you must attend 1/2 of all events. A sliding scale then dete...

Good job Will... I hear ya though... The kids to drive the tar out of those Karts. Years ago when Michael Contours bought a Kart for his daughter to use... before he knew SD had not approved Jr Karts... a few of us SCAT members gave it a run during club runs. Michael & Steve Schmidt both ran F12...

Re: Who has attended Speed Ventures autocross events?

Jayson was a little tongue in cheek above about attending . His company Jaycom has run their autocross'es for several years. I've only attended two, but here is my take: - While the times are often 1/2 to 2/3's of our typical courses, they often with double backs (sections you run twice), just like ...

By the way, Nice driving at the Runnoffs this year, that was one exciting race to watch.
